I love Wicked Weed’s Beer but literally every time I go into the brewery I’m “greeted” with nothing but grumpiness by the bartenders. It’s not fun! (Hosts are always kind and smiley though.) I’ve always wanted to try the food but never feel welcomed so leave as soon as my husband downs a pint - or I leave before he’s done and meet him outside! I’ve attempted a handful of times - sometimes people are just grumpy you know - but yeah I’m over it now.

I went here twice while visiting Asheville. The food is amazing - flavorful, fresh, and interesting rather than heavy brewery fare. I had chicken skewers, kale salad, and tomato bisque, and all were great. It's a brewery! The beer selection is varied and good, and they have beer from their sister Funkatorium as well. I had the Iron Lady and Lieutenant Dank, and both were solid. They have an upstairs dining room/bar as well as a tap room downstairs. There is also outside seating. Be warned - it gets very crowded here. The seating was the only (non-brewed) sour note. As a frequent solo traveler, I'm used to befuddlement from some places. But these hosts just sort of gave up me on a Sunday evening visit. I finally scored a spot at the community table.

We did not go on a Friday-Sunday. So being the work week we had an easy time with seating. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of drinks was amazing and we had a great time. I liked how simple and sweet the decor is. It reminded me of simple pub in England.

First time coming here. We were visiting from Atlanta and had to come to this brewery. We went around 4 pm on a Saturday, so it was definitely busy. We sat in the front patio. Wish they didn’t have wicker chairs (ladies you know what I mean). Pleasantly surprised by the fact that the staff walks around and checks on you to see if you need any beer! That was awesome. Will definitely come back!

Beers and Food are fantastic! Chef quality food and great beer! What more could you ask for! Place was busy , but we did not have to wait. Fast and friendly service too. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere of this place says it all. You have to experience it once to understand. Upstairs is a classy bar with cocktails and food being served. The outdoor seating is nice and lets one enjoy the cool mountain air. Head downstairs to one of the largest patio areas you've ever seen in a bar. Picnic tables and young people flock down here. This is the place to be if you're with a group of young friends.

I was in town for the first time, and I decided to go for a drink it was definitely dog friendly, and the service was actually great too. The bartender was very informative with the beers and recommended me "Tyranny Red" and "Freak of Nature", and I honestly liked both. I am more of a liquor guy, but I was very impressed with the beers. I am soon to move into the area due to new job, and I can see myself coming there more often in the future. I definitely recommend!

This place has a nice atmosphere just to chill out and enjoy good food. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The chips appetizer was SO goodlike really good! I ordered the portobello sandwich and the coleslaw. It didn't look like it would be enough but it was very filling and super yummy 😋. Oh and the boiled peanuts were very tasty!

Absolutely the best bar in Asheville. While they only serve their own beer, Wicked Weed makes so many varied brews that it doesn't even matter. Whatever you're into they'll have on their menu and it will be delicious. The food is very well put together with top notch ingredients, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The ambiance is great, especially when it's warm enough to use the outdoor seating.

Always love stopping here on our way through! It's got a great atmosphere with different levels of seating and beer gardens. Typically busy but service is quick and worth the wait on even busier days. Food is quite delicious if you're in the mood for burgers. I recommend trying their IPAs & Pale Ales, they're amazing.

Also worth mentioning, their chalk boards are written in an extremely difficult font. There are printed menus too but could improve with a more legible sign when standing in line

This isn't a destination for beer drinkers. If you wanna try their beer (which is well made and has earned them every bit of business they receive) then buy a bottle or 5 from their Bottle Shop that is attached to the pub.

I will say their handwritten menu is pretty difficult to read (printed menus are available too). Had a great time guessing some of the words.

There were a ton of people here and my beer pour was about 2 fingers shy.

We weren't here for the drinking (not old enough), but this is a great place to eat because of the hoppin' atmosphere and the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, and the service was speedy. The potato chips with the beer cheese were outstanding! The Wicked Burger, however, did not live up to our expectations. The patty was thin, and it did not have a strong flavor. This might have been due to the fact that the bun was rather large compared to the rest of the toppings on the burger. Overall, it was a good experience, but we would recommend getting a different burger. Can't wait to come back for a beer in the near future.
