We stayed overnight at the Pond House, had dinner at the restaurant on the property, shopped at the general store, did the farm tour. We loved it and had a great time.

Until recently, I was 100% excited about this company. They offer a lot of products, and they have the highest standards for humane animal treatment that I have found. I also love that they sell whole ground birds, including bones and organs for feeding pets. I have been feeding this to my pets for several months. Recently, I noticed there were sharp bone fragments. Not knowing if this was new to this batch, I reached out via email to ask if there may have been a problem with the grinder. I received a response assuring me it was the same as the last batch which my cat had consumed with no issues, so I continued to feed it. Weeks later my cat experienced bowel lacerations from it. Regardless of whether or not the batch that injured my cat was typical, I would caution others that feeding their PET grind meats to small pets may be dangerous. My vet said this could have killed my cat.

Despite this, I will continue to purchase meat from them because few places raise farm animals so cleanly and humanely.

I love the huge variety of products they sell, the user friendly website. They promptly answer emails. I feel great about buying meat and animal products sourced from humanely raised animals. This is as good as it gets. Pasture raised - the chickens are completely unconfined. None of their animals end up on a long, stressful trip to an external processing facility. They really do everything right here. I feed some of their PET grind to my pets, and they love it. It's the cheapest way I've found to supplement their diets with pasture raised meat. My only wish is that they had not recently adopted a policy of bubble wrapping every package of meat. I never had any shipping issues before they started doing this, and it's a huge waste of materials! Extra coolers and massive amounts of bubble wrap.

The food was fresh, delicious, and healthy! I had a grilled chicken salad and fresh clean water! Food the way it should be, all natural, grown there on the farm, and no chemicals added! We will make this a regular stop!

Wow! I am so impressed. I visited the farm today with my kids and it is truly an amazing place. The animal are treated so nicely and roam freely on the farm. We saw the facility where the slaughter and the processing happen and it is truly the most humane way to go about it. I was impressed how clean it was. The young lady (Jodi) explained how everything works and they use ever part of the animal. Nothing is wasted! They even make soap. The eggs are so fresh and gathered 3 times a day. I couldn't resist but to get a couple of dozen to take home. Their products are worth every penny and the farm is worth visiting to see it all in person. I have seen so many horrific images of the treatment of animal on these large farms that mass produce product that I had to see the difference for myself at White Oak Pastures. Amazing!!!
