First off, they need to stop being cheap and hire a chef. The place is so beautiful it’s a shame the food is so horrible. Second, it’s time to upgrade those rooms. It’s a state park so I guess funds are limited but during budget time this can be brought up I think.

Fun place for biking, canoeing, or bird watching. I met a cat at the visitor center that was spoiled from attention so I also made a friend while visiting.

We had a horrible experience at this lodge. The room had a musty odor. There were spider webs with live spiders. The shower had mold and mildew to the point that it was flaking off during a shower. The ceiling was peeling. When we tried to go to the front office it was closed. We felt that we were completely alone on the property. We will never stay there again. Lakepoint Lodge on the Alabama side is far nicer.

We came to the lodge as Hurricane Irma evacuees.from Florida We were scared and tired and let me say the staff was so unwelcoming.First the staff has no customer service, so unfriendly
They are lazy. 2nd Housekeeping were complaining about cleaning. I guess they were not used To having that many people stay at the lodge. 3rd this is a family place not for staff to throw a hurricane Party with friends next to families and on top of that with no electricity power for a whole day and night on top of that smoking pot playing loud music and some crazy lady talking loud worst night of my life. This was a staff party . overall the lodge. Lake ,pool ,restruant was beautiful . i hope next time i come back i can enjoy my stay. I hope they get a new professional staff. Loving caring and friendly. I will rate a 1 because of m angement however this place is a diamond in the rough this place will loose its beauty because of the staff. Great place to fish on Lake Eufala. Pet friendly. Comfortable rooms. Perfect place for families. Very isolated so come prepared!

This location is awesome. We had a small family reunion with about 60 people and all enjoyed everything. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. Great Service and Location.
