Beautiful small lake! Clean beaches. Changing rooms and restrooms available. Little store on property. Campgrounds available. Great for little ones with shallow water and slow descent to deeper. Plus 2 playground areas. Perfect summer beach.

I love this place so much. I'm not much of a swimmer, but I do walk out as far as I can to enjoy the water. The atmosphere is amazing! I love looking at the mountains and the loons. It's great that they have a snack shack and bathrooms. I always go get a t-shirt or magnet from the office store. Everyone that works there is really friendly. It is a great family beach. A must go to place.

The place is real clean. Great beach. The water is clear. Sandy bottom. And gradual water level. Great for small kids.

Very great state park. We camped (tent) on 08-02-17. Very secluded spot. It was a bum deal that we didn't get to swim due to thunder. And it poured all nite. But we plan on returning.

Beautiful lake and scenery, especially after the day trippers go home. The campground is well maintained and the sites vary in size but are generally more than adequate for a car, a tent, and the provided picnic table and fire pit. The facilities are just adequate and showers coin-op, but nothing out of line with what should be expected from a campground. Overall I would definitely stay again, just check the weather first!

Clean campsite, easy beach access. Lots of kids and families. A little bit on the louder side at night, but not obnoxious. Bathrooms and facilities were well maintained. The site feels deep in the woods, but civilization isn't far if you've forgotten something critical. Great for kids imo, a couple of playgrounds and a nice trail around the lake.

Nice little park, with a big lake. Many people go fishing here year round. We did some cross country skiing here which was nice.

A great state park. Clean and well run. The park has a big beach and the lake is a great spot for kids because it is very shallow. Gets busy in peak season. There is a concession stand by the beach and at the entrance.

Go early, it gets packed. The view is gorgeous, water is warm, and shallow. Great for kids. Nice beaches, close restrooms and changing rooms, newer play structures for all ages, a snack bar too. There are family friendly trails and nice camping sites. If you plan ahead you can get a lakeside site.

Went camping here and it was fantastic. Lovely views and great weather while we were there. Best part is swimming in the lake. It is very shallow, and small kids can go very far into the water on their own ( watch them carefully!). The shallow sandy bottom makes the water quite warm for such a high altitude lake. The water clarity was fantastic too, so bring goggles. Amenities include a very clean shower/ bathroom complex, and a gift/provisions shop that is open to 9:00PM. Going out into town is easy enough too, with small general stores both East and West of the park entrance.
