This is a great place. If you like motorcycles or are interested in history you will find the displays and the accompanying stories fascinating. The themes of the displays are very well thought out and the subject matter is consistent with the time periods represented.
The time and effort that had gone into this museum and the passion of the man who created it are amaysing. If not for his efforts and so much of this story and the machines the help tell it would be lost forever.
I urge you to plan at least a few hours to take this trip through time. You won't be disappointed.

Been here in the area for years, but never went here until the other day when my brother-in-law was in town and wanted to go. Glad we went. A lot to take in. Very neat inventory of antique and custom motorcycles and memorabilia. Enjoyed it very much. But would recommend that you visit here a couple of times. Just a bunch of stuff to take in.

Very nice assortment of motorcycles and vehicles over a vast time period on display. Staff was on hand to answer any questions and assist you in anyway. The facility was clean and very visually appealing. And bonus! Mike Wolfe from Antique Archeology stopped in while we were there. Well worth the money.

Eric was there and told us many stories about some of the motorcycles they had there. Was very interesting. The whole museum is an eyeful and we would recommend it to anyone. Plenty of hotels, cabins, etc. around to stay at. Make a weekend or week out of that area!

This was the by far the best museum we have visited. The amount of time spent on each exhibit and attention to detail is astonishing. It is far larger and more interesting than we ever expected. You don't have to any prior knowledge or interest of antique (vintage) American motorcycles to learn and appreciate them. The staff was outstanding. They were friendly and accommodating. You could tell the people providing information about each exhibit are genuine scholars in the field. Highly recommend it!

If you like old American motorcycles, go see Dale's collection.
The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, especially Andy.
There are some very rare and spectacular pieces in this collection.
Does the name Traub or Veritas mean anything to you?
Go to Wheels Through Time. You will learn and have a great time!
One of the exhibits has sparked an interest in some of my friends to do an Iron Butt Endurance run.
Don't sit there reading this, go to Wheels Through Time.

What a cool museum! This place is two floors of motoring goodness, both bikes and cars. Any gearhead will love coming here. They have a souvenir shop to take home a shirt or mug as well.

Absolutley wonderful collection! Although this place is kid friendly, and even offered a stroller for my three year old, I wouldn't advise bringing them! Your going to want to spend quality time in this place! All the staff was great too. Plan to stop by here if your passing through Maggie Valley!

If you are passing through Maggie Valley you must stop here. It is biker heaven hundreds of bikes on display in a museum it is Hands-On by the owner Dale Was. You can easily spend two days here. The setting is beautiful with a river running right through. Amongst the Smoky Mountains. This is a great little town to visit it is small town America. Dale also had a show on TV called What's in the Barn where he would travel around the country finding artifacts of motorcycles and motorcycles that which truly relics and antiques among the first ever made.
