Visited a few places in this mall today. Hot Topic is a great store. They are always helpful. Mall is always clean. At&t store staff is very helpful. Mall have plenty if parking, lots of handicap parking and live the idea of expecting mom parking.

Game to see the Hippo! This mall opened the year I was born (1972) and the Hippo was a staple of every trip.
The mall is pretty good storewise. A few of the mall stores seem to be fill ins just to make it look busy. But you can find lots of good stores too.response / report this review -

JC Penny - shopped for boys clothes. Great time finding what was needed! Nice selections. Clean fitting rooms. Not sure why younger sizes more expensive? No waiting to check out. Friendly cashiers! Very helpful and polite.

Very limited collection of stores. To me, most useful ones are Walmart, JCP & Victoria's Secret. Limited options for dinning on the mall. Jackson Crossing is bigger and had better assortment of the stores.

I've been going to the Westwood Mall since I was a child. Growing up in Jackson, the mall was (and still is) one of my favorite places to visit. Although it is a smaller mall, they do have most of the main retailers, found in other malls (Hot Topic, Victoria's Secret, FYE - just to name a few). A lot of malls in smaller towns have been suffering lately and closing down stores, but the Westwood Mall seems to be among the ones that are doing better than most. It's a great place to just hang out and browse. There are benches and sofas, even, to sit down and relax. Everything is usually pretty clean, and the mall looks great. I just wish that they hadn't taken the fountain out of the center of the mall years ago.

Decent small City Mall. Has a good selection of Mall stores and there's still a Penny's there. Walmart shares it's West wall with the mall so you can easily shop both. Mall has an Applebee's too

Hey Rick Rife, Best Buy isn't in the Westwood mall! And you are a "local guide"?
On a different note, when I was a kid I thought the hippo was so fun to play on.
Fast forward 30 years and three kids later. Now I get to play on it again.

Kind of small. Just an average mall. The children enjoyed the "life size" chess board and other games down by JC Penney

Only go there to shop at Penney's . Only place in Jackson that have clothes for the tall man at a reasonable price.
