  Brought my German Shepard in today for a check up as well as part of his socialization training and had a very poor experience. My GSD gets very anxious but he is not vicious and my trainer came along to help out. The Dr. As well as the rest of the employees were intimidated and very rude towards us in this situation. As a vet you should be equipped to handle any personality of dog, the dog reads your body language and tension. I believe there was a preconceived opinion of the breed in which led to the intimidation. There is a difference between aggression and excitement. Will not be returning.

  Best vets ever! We lost our Baby to old age recently. They sent us her little paw prints and a lovely card. We've been bringing our pets here for years. We trust them completely.

  Everyone was nice. Had my appointment about a half an hour earlier than originally planned. My dog is pregnant and never been vaccinated and there was a parvo case around the same time. Ours was moved to prevent contact and contamination but we waited in the room for well over an hour and when we were finished we came out and the parvo case was in the waiting room and my dog got within 2 feet of it. Not very good at preventing contact and contamination..and super long wait. And it cost over $30 just to look at her ear wax under a microscopenot too bad though

  Love Western Hills Veterinary Clinic! We've been taking our dogs here for almost 16 years! Dr. Burk and Dr. Hilty are very caring along with their staff.

  Very happy with my first experience at Western Hills Vet. I called them to see if they could work in 3 feral cats I trapped (Havahart trap) to get spayed/neutered. They allowed me to bring them in quickly and and got all 3 spayed/neutered and completely vaccinated, wormed, and flea treatment. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. Wonderful experience.
