Great stairs or if you want trails for hiking there's that too. There is an extensive trail system or ways to keep it short if that's what you prefer.

Went hiking with a 5 month old in a jogging stroller. The paths were nice easily passible. Wouldn't attempt with a 4 wheel stroller

An awesome hidden gem in ferrysburg. The trails connect with PJ Hoffmaster state park a few miles north.

First 70°F day of the year and couldn't wait to get outside! Parked at North Shore and hiked all afternoon. The paths are still full of leaves and a bit treacherous on the steep downward portions. I have lived in Ottawa County my entire life, outside a hitch in the Navy. My parents brought me to North Shore when I was a toddler. I brought my daughter there when she was a toddler. The trails that are there now blew me away! It was an awesome afternoon of hiking and adventure!

GREAT park! The trails eventually lead you to Lake Michigan where you can enjoy the lake off the beaten path. There is no map that you can carry with you, and at times it feels like you are lost. But then a map comes up and you can see that you are right where you need to be. The park does back up to some private property so you have to be careful, but I enjoyed my hike through the park.

Great trail! Lots of small trails linked, clearly marked with maps along the way. Sandy or mulched trails. Lots of stains by the dune. Well up kept.

Great trails for hiking or running with plenty of space so you can get away from other people and follow game trails made by the many deer.
