This beach/r.v. site is very old and run down.in need of major upkeep.nothing has been changed and outdated.the owners are really old and should've sold the park years ago.it's been up for sale for quite some time now.this used to be the hangout spot all summer and actually one of the few places to go and have fun with family/friends in our tiny boring town.they charge way too much for parking/pass and the Helen is very rude

PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST QUALITY! Their bathrooms are not clean at all! Please, don't make the regrettable decision that my family did. At least the lake was fun. UNTIL I FOUND TRASH IN IT. "The park" I thought. "The kids will have fun playing at the park". I go to look at the park, and THERE WASNT ONE. There were a couple swings and a slide. It was THE worst family trip I have ever had. My kids were complaining the whole time, just waiting to go home. Just go to Krystal Lake campground on Washburn road in Vassar.

I WISH I COULD GIVE -100 STARS. Please, don't choose this campground. Don't make the bad decision that my family did.
THIS PLACE IS WHITE TRASH. My kids got bullied by groups of kids. There were adults and teenagers staying up until 5:00am, singing drunk, and getting high. We could smell it from our campsite that was on the other side of them. We didn't get any sleep. The "DJ" is just a speaker and lights in a garage. THERE WAS EVEN IN TRASH IN THE LAKE. I thought the lake was the only good thing, until I found A CHAIR IN THE LAKE. I regret ever coming here. Please, just go to Krystal Lake Campground on Washburn road in Vassar. It's a MUCH better campground.

Huge shallow area to swim, playground for the kids is okay, grills on the beach as well. One of the few beaches you can drink at but with that comes a certain crowd sometimes. I have never had any major problems though and the kids always have fun!
