We have been going there for years even way back when they were on Rt51. The service is great and the products are excellent!
It was clean and neat. The workers there are always friendly and willing to help you. Plus everything you get there like your meat ,lunchmeat and cheese is always freshly cut
Always a great experience. You can’t beat the prices for the quality steaks you get here. I live an hour and a half away. But make the drive out to Weiss’s once a month for meat. It’s always worth the drive
Best meats in the area. Love the newly expanded store. Prices are unbeatable. Be sure to check their website for weekly sales. Some are pretty impossible to say "no" too.
Great selection including exotic meats and even better prices. They have a selection of frozen foods too from seafood to skillet meals and veggies. Its worth the trip if you have freezer space. $25 minimum for each order.
Love this place. Refuse to buy meat anywhere else. Great staff and prices. Meat is almost always top notch. Occasionally a fatty section, but not often.
Remolded ..Awesome!!Employee's Awesome!!!!
Top notch service. Great price points.
The store advertises that it closes at 6pm. I went there to make a meat purchase and arrived at 5:30pm and the doors were locked. There were three other people outside who wanted to make a purchase. One of the workers came to the door and rudely told us the store was closed. Then another worker came out and informed us they were busy all day and closed the store. He rudely closed the door in our face. I understand it was the holiday, but this is no way to do business. I'll never return to this establishment to purchase meat.
Fresh meat at good prices. Got the lamb loin chops and sausage.
Spent $100 on meat. Threw the pork roast out completely because it was nothing but inedible fat. Bought 6 t bone stakes also nothing but fat, not even worth cutting around it for the meat itself because there's only less then a third of actual meat on the stakes. Burger meat fell apart on the grill. Only think I liked was the bacon and it was average at best. Not impressed. Worst first time customer experience. Will not be returning.
SCAM!!!!!! I am writing you to inform others about a local business and their false advertising. I went into Weiss Meats on 5/25/16 and bought an on sale beef filet for $9.99 a pound. I was very happy with the deal I was getting. I purchased a 6.5 pound filet costing me $65.
When I came home, I was individually wrapping my filets for later use. It did not look like I had 6.5 pounds of meat, so I decided to get my electronic scale out to weigh it. What should have been 104 ounces of meat was barely 74 ounces of meat. I was shocked and extremely disappointed that I did not have the entire 104 ounces that I paid for. With the amount of meat I was given, I paid not $9.99 a pound as advertised, but $14.44 a pound for the 74 ounces I received.
I called Weiss Meats and left two messages on two different voicemails. The next day it was almost noon and I had not received a call back. I called up yet again and asked to speak with a manager.
When the manager heard my story, he was not surprised as he said that there is a chain on the filet itself and trimmings that they cut off the meat when slicing it for a customer. The meat gets weighed with the fat and the chain prior to slicing. However, the customer must pay for the trimmings and the chain weight in the per pound price.
I paid $20 for 2 pounds of trimmings and chain.
This however is not what is advertised and is false advertising. They are ripping off customers and they do not seem to care that they are doing it. I am left with only 2/3 of the meat I paid for. I am wondering how many times that this company has ripped people off without them realizing. It is a classic bait and switch situation.
Been going for years great prices nice atmosphere cool guys will continue to go back till I move out of PA
