We launched our own kayak here. It's definetly a more strenuous paddle to go towards the headspring and back than simply starting from the state park and coming downstream but we had a great time. Super friendly. I was worn out after 5.5 hours and they even helped carry our kayak to the car. Ty!

Average rental pricing for kayaks, but best deal when it comes to how long you can have them for. The staff was hospitable and treated us like family.
Definitely recommend and will use them the next time we decide to go kayaking.

This is a great place to rent canoes or kayaks from! It is reasonably priced with friendly staff and we even saw a manatee in the river before we got in the canoe!

Affordable choice and very friendly staff. The owner even loaned my husband a hat because he forgot to bring his. Nice kayaks and a great experience was had by all!

Excellent adventure. We had 4 grandchildren with us and rented 3 double seat kayaks. 4 hours later we returned and all were happy with our choice. The folks were great (and patient). Equipment was good (one kayak needed a new plug but that was a super quick fix). The river was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend!!

Took the family here and had a great time. Saw a baby manatee and enjoyed a great morning on a beautiful river. Couldn't ask for more. The staff was friendly. They sell frozen shrimp but no shiners or worms so you need to bring your own if you want to fish while you are out.

Great staff, super friendly, inexpensive rentals. Best place to rent kayaks and paddle boards from! They have parking for guests renting from them.

Call before heading over there for reservations since they may run out.

Best place ever! Especially if your new like me! Helped me out! Rent a single kayak for $30 and kayak all day! You can't beat that! It's so beautiful and the people are extremely happy and sweet!

Excellent river to kayak. We went kayaking later in the day and it began to rain while we were on the river, which was fun until we returned to the kayak shack. The shack was locked and shut down for the day with our car keys locked inside! And there was no answer on the phone for the owner. It took us about 30 minutes to find someone to open the shack so we could get our keys. We had to threaten to break a window to get our keys out to get help. Moral of the story: don't leave your car keys inside the shack (which they recommend) and hope it doesn't rain while you are kayaking because the staff will close up shop and leave you stranded.

This was a lot of fun, crystal clear.spring water and a great time amongst nature and a thousand walks of life. The shack supplied our scout troop with 9 canoes and 2 kayaks and a great time was had by all. It was a cultural eye opener for me but all good.

What an adventure today! Mom and I had a blast, we started out at the Kayak Shack and went up river. The River was all sand bottom and clear the whole 2hr trek. Up river was only slightly challenging at times then the way back was like a lazy river #easymode.

We saw lots of fish and birds along the way, so relaxing just beautiful out there. We even hopped out and walked on the sandy bottom for a bit. The staff there were wonderful to work with. We will be back next year, no question.
