I live nearby but I don't often eat here because of the expense. I attended a party here. The place is beautiful and in December it's decorated lovely for the holidays. They offer a limited lunch menu for groups. The food was excellent: turkey with bacon & cheese on chewy ciabatta bread. Wonderful homemade chips. Drink & dessert were included. Dessert was a small glass of brownie with peppermint ice cream with chocolate sauce. The price ($20) was as much as I pay for dinner at other restaurants. The food gets 5 stars, the price not so much.
The food was a little pricey but well worth it. There was more than enough food in the portions we received. Nice view of the lake if you are fortunate enough to get a seat in the front. My one complaint, the wait staff is a little slow. I was there on a Sunday afternoon around 3, during a Bill's game. There were maybe 6 occupied tables and most of them were finishing up from a late lunch. We still waited some time for our waitress, who did apologize for the delay. We weren't in any hurry, so no big deal. Good food, nice atmosphere. If you aren't in a hurry, it's a nice place to eat.
Had a great lunch to celebrate daughter's birthday! Food was excellent, service was great..and the chocolate volcano birthday cake for her was a lovely surprise!
Mediocre food exorberant prices. Beautiful restaurant with a great view of the lake. However, while the food was not terrible it certainly wasn't worth what came out on the bill. We paid 100 dollars for a meal that was on par, if that, with a meal that would have cost 50 anywhere else. If I'm paying that much for the food I expect high quality. The service was great but I left feeling cheated. The meal was not terrible by any means but it was not nearly worth the price being charged.
Awesome fries, good service, good food. My sister and I shared a chicken parmesan sandwich for lunch and left satisfied and in good spirits.
The decor is a tad cheesy but I loved the bird feeders in the window! Also the view is good from the booths.
Excellent food and service. Beautiful scenery as we sat on the upper deck and had a nice view of the lake. Will definitely go back.
Was one of the worst experiences. Food was overcooked service was awful. Management was good enough to give us a gift certificate to return but was only for half of the price that we paid for a bad meal not sure if we will ever return
I love to support family businesses. Nice facility with hotel, famous candy store, gift store and restaurant. Wish they had a bigger lunch menu.
Expertly done traditional fare!
Everything was fantastic, from the expertly toasted rolls to the perfectly cooked prime rib. The bruschetta appetizer was the best I've had and the chicken wing soup was superbly appetizing! I would return simply for it. The attentive staff was cordial and incredibly helpful. I'd give a 6th star for the service if I could!
Great food and service! Beautiful facility
My wife and I went for lunch here for our anniversary. We found the place to be clean and comfortable with slightly antiquated decor. It overlooking the lake from across the street which made for an nice (if not great) view. The staff was very polite and happy. The food was really good, although the prices were a tad high and the wine list was very standard.
The thing about Webb's is that it is way more than a restaurant. At Webb's you can go to the best miniature golf course on the lake, then go to their candy shop, go to their cute souvenir type shop, or play a classy game of pool before dinner. There is a decent upstairs deck overlooking the lake, and a nice bar in addition to the Captain's Table that serves food. Their food can be a little pricey, but they also offer a lot of choices for good food under $20. We have always had a great wait staff.
All of this adds up to a great afternoon on the lake which is why I feel it is a 5 star place to visit on Lake Chautauqua.
