I would recommend taking it over to Washington island. Has a top deck you can see from restroom on board.

Beautiful and nearly secluded beach park. Kudos to WI DNR for installing a boardwalk and native seagrasses. Really lovely.

Great ride and nice views. Adults and kids would enjoy the ride. Staffs are really helpful while getting the car on, park and off the ferry. Watch for hours, frequency seems to be more on busy days. Expect lines on busy days. Have a decent restroom on board. Approx 25mins ride one way. Bit pricey, but worth it as it serves the purpose of a boating and commute.

Departure was on time and the staff was helpful and friendly. Had a very nice ride on the top deck in the afternoon and in the cabin on the way back. Great service!

On time loading and departure. Smooth, dependable sailing. Check their website for departure times as they change seasonally. Plenty of departures during summer season. Taking the ferry across Death's Door is highly recommended. Beats swimming!

This was a very nice ride out to the island. I have taken the ferry a number of times and it's always different depending on the weather. The loading and un loading was an efficient process. I really enjoy standing up top or along the rail to get that fresh air,and great views of the shoreline. Take the trip, it is well worth it.
