A nice short hike to the Wall Steet Mill. Built by Bill Keys in the 1940s This mill framed in heavy timber, walls covered with corrugated sheet metal, long wooden ramp supports the track of an ore tramway which carried ore. A detailed blueprint from 1931 is displayed at the site, depicting how this two-stamp mill processed ore into gold. Many elements shown in the schematic are still in place. You can find some nice photography subjects along the way.

Typically, remote destinations where the journey of Fishing, Kayak Fishing, Hunting, Camping is the principal goal with, some shenanigans thrown in.

I found the in and out to be a bit dull, plenty of Joshua trees but few rocks and the path is deep gravel in parts. But the mill is a great reward and there are some other gold-rush relics to discover too.

I found like five abandoned cars, the mill, a windmill and some rustic house that was in ruins. Well everything was in ruins but it was nice.

Short, flat hike to see ruins of a stamp mill. Very cool, and there's a few old jalopy cars hidden which you can sit inside!

Combination of a great easy hike, with some history of the gold rush. 100% genuine far west experience.
