My school's soccer team played against this school many times. The games were very spirited and our schools developed a rivalry. Unfortunately a large majority of the Wade Hampton parents/fans thought that it was a perfectly civilized to chant racist/anti-immigrant songs at our players. We had never ever felt such disrespect and ugliness from any other competitor. It goes to show the kind of people that live there. I would rather homeschool my kid than have him ever attend such a school that tolerated that behavior.

Love Rotc. The school itself could be better with new books and gear and do more

I have attended this school for four years now and NO ONE likes this place. Not only is there never tissue in the girl's restroom (all seven of them, including the gym, locker room and ROTC building), but the halls are unclean, the classrooms are filthy, and there are bugs everywhere. The AC and heat do not work hardly anywhere in the building. The teachers and staff (for the most part) are uncaring and unqualified. Students attack teachers and most recently, a mother and her daughter attacked a student. Do not send your kids here unless you want them to never achieve in life.

(BUT. Mrs. Wilson is an awesome principal thus far and hopefully she can change things for the better.)
