Very chic hotel room with great views. Balcony is very private with amazing water view if you choose that type of room. Housekeeping does an excellent job on keeping the room clean on a timely manner.

Restaurants within the hotel were SO yummy and beautiful. We never had to leave for anything!

Only complain we had was the bad experience we had with our housekeeping lady. We came back to the room at one point and the room was perfect except our medicine and some clothing was gone. Luckily the front desk people understood we weren't blaming anyone we really just wanted our belongings back. They found our items and all was back to normal :)

DO NOT! I REPEAT! DO NOT SLEEP WITH THE BALCONY DOORS OPEN! We thought the ocean sounded amazing and the moon was huge so we decided to enjoy that with the cool breeze while we slept. BIG MISTAKE! We woke up at 4am ALL BIT UP by mosquitoes all over!!! Stupid move for sure. Thankfully the front desk was awesome and gave me bug spray. Since I am allergic I needed some Caladryl ASAP! Thank heavens there is a 24 hour CVS on the next block over so all was well after !

I will definitely be staying here again when I am back in Miami

Amazing!! I can’t get over how nice our room was and the ocean view. It was an amazing few days. Every person working there was so nice and polite. I’ll definitely be back.

Presidential suite:
Birthday setup was requested, was not fulfilled.
Charged for mini bar and snacks, did not even use.
Services can be better.
Maid squealing and freaks out when she sees a service dog.

Awesome wet pool.
Bar drinks are great.
Easy access to the beach.

Best hotel stay ever! The service and food was amazing! The beach was beautiful and peaceful and quiet and the room was beautiful. Can't wait to come back.

We tried to cancel a reservation three days prior to arrival instead of the required seven days prior to arrival due to hurricane Irma, along with the threat of hurricane Jose and Maria. The hotel would not waive the cancellation. The reservations manager said that fact that they were open was reason enough to charge despite the conditions of the surrounding area or any threat of potential weather. It is a shame that the hotel would not be understanding, but they were within their right to charge so they did. That was their choice, my choice will be to never book with a Starwood or Marriott hotel again. It always blows my mind when a hotel or company has a chance to make a customer for life our of someone and they completely blow the interaction and lose a customer for life.

Best hotel experience of my life. I can't complain about a single thing. The beach, pool, food, drink, every nook and cranny of the hotel is perfect. We were upgraded to an incredible mega suite which will probably be the most amazing room I will ever stay in. The hotel staff we're over the top helpful. We played tennis and basketball with complimentary loaner equipment and took advantage of the free morning boot camp. A queen sized daybed with shade was the perfect way to spend the day, I've never had such a memorable birthday in my 35 years.

This lodging is top level. From the feeling, to the mindfulness of the staff and the zones at pool and at the shoreline; everything was staggering. The area of the inn is pleasant too. It's a speedy walk or UBER to all the great eateries and exercises you might need to do while in South Beach.

The rooms are stylish, yet pragmatic also. Awesome condition for having a decent time or simply making up for lost time with some rest.

The cordiality of the staff separates this property from the rest.

This place was absolutely amazing. From the staff, to the service, and especially the rooms. The staff are the most helpful, laid back, and just overall pleasant people I've interacted with. They definitely made us feel special. We had such a great time we extended our stay for an extra night. They had everything we needed. We honestly didn't need a car! They had complimentary bikes, and an escalade that would take us anywhere within a 4mile radius. The view we had just topped it off. After this trip we will only be staying in W Hotels.

Great location, 2 min walk to the beach. Rooms are nice and spacious and most of them have a view of the beach. Staff are all great, very friendly and helpful. However some charges are a bit sneaky even if you know about them beforehand e.g. resort fees, $46 valet parking (no self parking) and $25 for an umbrella at the beach (part of the resort fee surely??) Overall a great experience and would stay again.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel since 2012 and it still remains our favorite vacation spot. We have tried other hotels in South Beach but none of them compare to the W South Beach. We even renewed our vows this past year on the beach and everyone went above and beyond. Service, food and drinks are all five stars. Thank you to Guillermo and Adrian for making this place so special for us.

Love the lobby bar. Ginni was our waitress and was absolutely lovely. She recommended places for us to go while visiting from Canada and was just really really nice to us. Would recommend DEF FOR GINNI!

Hotel is great overall. In a great location, the staff is superb (shout out to Gabi and Liz), and the facilities are excellent. Had a great meal with great service at The Dutch. Only small downside is that the rooms are in need of a little TLC; virtually every piece of furniture has significant wear on it. But other than that small thing which shouldn't prevent anyone from staying here, this place is super.
