It was an ok stay. The rooms were clean for the most part, it was convenient location for stores around that area. Very quiet.
Here for Thanksgiving with our Grandmother. The hotel is NOT at The Falls. This location is outdoors and uses stairs- important to know for those needing an elevator. The staff smiled when we entered. Sandra helped check us in. She was very courteous. The lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Before we got to our room, maintenance arrived to bring our microwave. Once we entered, I instantly inspected the room, as advised. Room is very small and appeared cleaned- closer inspection shows some flaws (dust, water stains on ceiling, hair). No bed bugs or roaches or ants noticed. Will check again in the evening for bugs. Hurricane damage noticed on the roof (tarp shown in photo). Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is running nicely. Bathroom is very small and the lighting is not very bright. TV and channels are working great, wifi is working great, too. Haven't eaten breakfast, but will update tomorrow. So far everything seems typical of a motel/hotel.
UPDATE: Everyone was nice and warm. The pool was amazing and the hotel is in a prime area. Housekeeping comes in daily so your beds are made, towels are fresh, and trash is emptied- and they're very sweet. Breakfast was the typical coffee, meat, juice, and breads- but the breakfast area was lovely. Washer and dryer located outside and downstairs only. No workout room. Hotel is located near The Falls, restaurants, and stores. Smell of mold is probably coming from the hurricane damage on the roof. Sound of traffic can be heard day and night so keep gentle music playing when falling asleep. Hotel was very pricy for a small Inn, but I'm hoping it was only because we came during the Thanksgiving holiday. Would stay again. Thank You Sandra.
Very disappointed in my stay here. Baby roach crawled on me while I laid in bed. Styrofoam was used as a support for a counter top that was barely hanging on. The people above me played music all night long and the phone didn't work in the room so I had to go to the front desk at three in the morning not a great experience and it didn't accomplish anything. Was a horrible nights sleep and it was a very expensive room for two beds. Hard pass is I ever find myself in this neighborhood again.
Great location next to the hospital which was what I needed. Rooms were clean enough and staff was pleasant. They have a pool too.
The staff is very nice. The rooms are old and outdated, so I feel the pricing is very high. But they are very accommodating
Hotel offers smoking and non-smoking rooms, but smoking rooms are kept on the opposite side. I had a non-smoking room and it didn't smell like a tobacco. A little pricey for a room, but overall it was clean and I had a good experience staying there. Also, there are a couple of washer and dryers if you need a quick wash
The front desk manager Nestor and Sandra are very rude. I kindly asked for a pen and she scolded me because she said its not her job to let me use a pen. The motel room is dirty and i already contacted bbb. Dont come here
Good place to stay. Desktop clerk Lucy is awesome. She knows the true meaning of hospitality. The hotel is a bit pricy regardless of their location and quality. Need improvement in maintenance outside and inside the room. Don't mind when you have been asked about your room number at breakfast. Overall okay for 1 or 2 days.
Great location to do Key Biscayne and Coral Castle although it is about 30 minute ride to Miami Beach. Overall property is good with new mattresses and bedding although the breakfast needs some help!
Decent place, older but clean. For being off US1 it was not loud. A large grocery store is just South of the hotel, a strip mall is just North with an Italian and Japanese restaurant along with a McDonald's so fresh and fast food are a short walk. Falls mall is a short drive North, Dadeland mall is a bit further North. If an older room (rust on bathroom rack, scuffed walls, paint on ceiling cracking over sink) or an motel design where your room door goes to the outside and a room window is covered by a curtain that is just big enough then this is a clean option that is much cheaper than nicer hotels in the area but not much more than those that are just nasty. A good choice for a budget travler that just wants a clean bed to sleep in.
An older motel style building with room doors going outside. It is an older location, my room showed its age but it was clean and my stay was quite and relaxing. Wi-Fi was good, even in the back of the complex. I felt the Air conditioning struggled to cool the room, but after a few hours it was good.
The room was reasonably priced. Free wifi. Spacious. Clean. Well lit parking area. It was a bit dated and could use a refresh. If the owners read this, I beg you to put in better light-blocking curtains. They are nearly sheer.
Every time we visit Miami we stay at this hotel. We had booked others thru the travel sites and had horrible experiences ended up leaving and coming here.. the staff are polite and very friendly always helpful. The rooms are very clean and fresh. The beds are super soft and the pillows are fluffy! Always a great experience every time and it's near everything!
