  The most spiritually beneficial 45 days I have spent in my lifetime. I came to Virture at the Pointe voluntarily because I was too sick to keep drinking. My goal was to drink myself to death.
  Death, I have come to realize while I washere will be an easy transition for me, as I transcend from this life to life in Light. I have been enlightened here through education, counseling, nutrition and medical attention. The staff here ensures that we all receive the assistance we need to heal emotionally, physically and spiritually. I will be grateful for the rest of days. Thank you all so very much for caring about me.
  I vow to post regularly to keep you updated on my progress in life and my sobriety.

  This Place was wonderful, and the best part about it is the people here. I have a home to go to, but I've been home the entire time. I truly needed this comradery. I've had PTSD real bad.. and it was killing me .. no exaggeration , but I've been talking to counselors here and well there is a big big weight off my shoulders.. I cant explain why.. but its 100 percent true. I've had to trust these kind people with details of my life that have been very painful to explain.. and the input that I've received was nonjudgmental , it was compassionate , and powerful. unexpected . I'm walking out of here as a different man then when I walked in. truth be told I haven't had this kind of treatment in many many years.. I felt Broken.. and there are parts of me that will always be .. but I am me again.. you cant buy this kind of help. it was freely given from the heart from each member of the staff. and that goes from the cook to the counselor, each person here embodies the word Team.. I'm honored and inspired to have been here . i will never forget this place that's for sure. on a scale of one to ten this place and its employees are a 19 thanks folks.. sincerely hope to see you again.. :) another thank you from my service animal Molly.. she was so well received and loved on her stay here. she appreciates your wonderful crew as I have.

  Virtue at the Pointe has changed my life for the better. I can't say enough good words about the knowledgeable,caring, resourceful, compassionate staff here! While here my family back home was hit with a devastating house fire that consumed everything we had! Not only did the staff walk and guide me through the highly stressful and extremely difficult time I was having, they did so for my displaced family back home! In a very short time they found my family and I safe affordable housing back back home! Michelle,Kelly and all the staff made my whole families enormous needs their main their own! All the staff from the top to the bottom exuded the utmost professional and caring attitudes a person could ask for! Thank your so much to the staff of Virtue at the Pointe !

  Staff was great, except for not knowing what meniers disease was, and not taking the time to find. Medical was a nightmare at times, giving out wrong meds, and not following up when I went to ER three times. Also the blood pressure machine was not working right, and they did nothing about it. Kitchen staff really went out of their way to accommodate my being a vegetarian.

  I highly recommend this Recovery Center. I was there 45 days and the V.A. paid it all. Very good counselors for P.T.S.D. All the counselors are available for talk when not with a client.
  You will have access to a Doctor. Nurses on staff and assisted by Med Techs.
  Management is very approachable and cares about the clients and staff.
  The kitchen staff is amazing with top rate food and snack, coffee and juice available 24/7.
  The facility is located on a hill overlooking the Columbian River in Astoria Oregon with fantastic views.
  Both male and female clients. Separate halls for females.
  If your are serious about Recovery and getting help for P.T.S.D. then give them a call
