Needs improvement in barns. We decided to do Tryon again for Pony Club champs instead of this place cause they want us there, and here needs improvements, and nobody like to walk from the barns all the way up to the top of the hill for 1 short ride, and not a lot of food or shopping locations here but the Dover across the street is great for emergencies.
First time I went and it was just so much to see. Very well maintained and organized. Food area was clean and neat and delicious. Plenty of parking areas.
Nice place to watch equine events. Log onto the webpage for more information for up coming events.
Went here to see the balloons take off for the baloon rally on the 4th of July. They set these people up in a field that set too low for the balloons to get up high enough to work very disappointed.
Nice facility but double booked some parts of regional Fair with a horse show, necessitating many last minute changes.
Beautiful facility! Open to the public with nearly continuous varied events. Walking trails. Outstanding staff. Don't skip this opportunity even if you don't own horses.
It's a smaller venue and the shows are run very well. The stalls are very big, most of them have electrical hook up very close, if not at each stall and all wash racks have warm water.
Been there a few years ago nice place alittle bit of everything for horse activities and more. Wish Michigan had something this nice.
Great show venue! Great staff!
Great place, great shows, the annual fair is here, 4th of July balloon rally and fireworks are here plus the rodeo. Not too mention wonderful horse shows
I grew up going to the Virginia State 4-H Horse and Pony Championship show here every September. The fond memories are all based on the well kept barns and arenas. Nothing better than a finals class in the Waldron Arena! (Photo is the view from the edge of the dressage hill)
