Free wine tastings on Saturday and what I believe to be the best international and local craft beer selection in the area help make this place great. Their wine selection is outstanding and definitely gives you options and some deals to make the trip worth while.

There is fantastic selection of beers. They owner is very helpful in finding new beers and recommendations. They just started a few taps that you taste and buy growlers. You can taste before buying.

This is probably one of the best beer & wine stores anywhere. If there is something you want & can't find in they're global collection they'll order you a case. There are often free tastings. Talk to the employees. Tell them what you like, or what you're eating for dinner, or a few bits of info about something you can't remember the name of. They'll find the perfect thing for you, or maybe 3 choices.

Very good selection and reasonable prices. Some beers are available in older vintages so you can buy aged bottles to sample.

We love Vintage Cellar. You can find great wine in any price range as well as beer from all over the world. If you want to try something new, they always have excellent recommendations and weekly tastings. The prices are also very fair.

The best beer selection in Blacksburg. From Belgian imports to American crafter breweries, they have it all. If they don't, they'll even try and order it for you. Pricing can be a little high at times, but overal a great place for beer. They also have a large wine selection, but I know nothing about wine, so I cannot comment on how extensive the selection is.
