Good place to take the family for camping or just a day off picnicingvand playing in the creek. They have hiking trails as well

Been coming here since I was a kid, great and beautiful place to relax enjoy nature, go. Camping, swimming, hiking, or just let your kids make new friends on the playgrounds.

Been going here long as I can remember; and love it. Moved away from the area, and now when I visit I get to bring my son's and they love it as much as I did as a kid. Thanks for keeping this place family friendly and open for the public to enjoy.

I enjoy this park . Its kinda out of the way. I usually come on weekdays ,with my dog . We walk the scenic, wooded trails for a couple of hours. I've camped here also . The camp sites aren't right on top of each other. It's a really nice park

Victoria Bryant State Park is absolutely gorgeous! To be completely honest it is one of my favorite state parks. Love the Platform campsites and the Pioneer campgrounds. The park has nice trails! The Gem of the park is its natural rock slide. Children absolutely love it! If I was was only going to rate the park, I'd say 5 stars all the way!
Unfortunately, I have to consider the staff in my review. The campground host, Kathy was amazing. She was very friendly, approachable and considerate. She went out of her way to drive to our platform campsite and invite us to the bonfire the park was having. She cleaned the bathrooms several times a day. So, as you can imagine, they were very clean! Again, she deserves 5 stars.
Now for the Rangers and more specifically, the manager in the office.It truly pains me to leave a negative review, but I feel like it's necessary. I camped here twice this summer, once at the end of July and once in August. And both times the park Rangers had major attitude problems, especially the manager. For one, I was denied 2 stamps on my loyalty card from the time we camped there two weeks prior, even though I was never told about the loyalty club. I even showed them my receipt. She said that information was posted all around the park and she wouldn't be giving me the stamps, because that's Ga parks policy.I felt like that was rude and unnecessary. And for the record, my friends and I walked around the park, looking at the bulletin boards and signs and it wasn't posted anywhere.
Also, when I checked in, I purchased two bags of ice. So that I could just pickup one on Friday evening and one on Saturday evening. Friday, I got up to the office right at 5pm. The lights were off but the ranger was inside. I knocked on the door and asked her if I could grab my bag of ice. She said that I would need to get it from the campground host. I told her that I had already paid for it and that I just needed to grab it. She said, " "like I said, you need to get it from the campground host". Seriously, the ice bin was RIGHT. BY. THE. DOOR! She literally had to walk by it to get to her car. So, I went back to my car and stared at the park map for the next 5 minutes trying to find the campground host. Once I found the campsite, I had to drive over and wait.Again, seems a little rude and unnecessary and something that could have taken 5 seconds, ended up taking me 30 more minutes.
Later that evening, I saw a different park ranger, screaming at the top of her lungs at a dad who allowed his child to ride their bike without a helmet. She was saying that she "could" charge him a $20 fee for not following park rules.Literallyscreaming at this man! Again, rude and unnecessary.Guess that's the the theme hereor more likelywhen you have a manager as rude and power hungry as this park clearly has, the anger and rudeness trickles down..
Having said all that, the park is gorgeous And I'm sure we'll be back. Hopefully they will clean house and get new management.and work on treating people with respect!response / report this review -

Wonderful clean park. Went swimming. Pool was clean and refreshing. Only problem was a life guard. He was letting kids run everywhere. Wasn't paying attention and a 3 year old jumped in with no vest. Many people yelling life guard and a man had to jump in and get her. He acted like he didn't even see it.

Beautiful state park. It has an awesome pond and stream. The hiking isn't to bad some highs and lows. It's smaller compared to other parks but it is very well maintained.
