No frills bar but tons of great memories here. Go Tigers!
Alright y'all I hope you're ready for a doosie. I've eaten at many many restaurants all across the southeast and around the world but this has quite literally been the worst dining experience of my entire life. Starting off it wasn't so bad. The restaurant wasn't so busy, there were some people at the bar and about three other tables. I was with a party of nine so I anticipated slower service than normal and would be okay with this but the events that occurred tonight were just inexcusable. We were seated promptly and the menus were already at the table. The fan was on and I get cold pretty easily so I moved seats and a friend asked to have the fan turned off. This never happened. The prices were a little pricier than expected: 10-12 dollars a piece so I was hoping that the food would be worth the price. When making our drinks orders a friend of mine asked what beers they offered. The waitress Hannah was a pretty laid back, college aged looking girl. She responded with "I don't know, I only work weekends." This was pretty disappointing and doesn't even make sense. If you work here, regardless of hours, you should know what beers are offered. This is a college town. The clientele drink beer. On weekends. You should know this. She also did not know the prices of the beers we asked for by name and was guessing their prices. Whatever. We got Blue Moons. We were starving so we went ahead and ordered. Next drawback: out of fries. Okay, that's fine, we got tater tots to sub for the lack of French fries. We also ordered an portion of corn dogs because again, we were very hungry and just wanted something to satisfy that hunger. These corn dogs took a while. Over 45 minutes. If this was the only inconvenience it'd be alright but lots of things are starting to add up at this point. The manager did say they were on the house so at least there was some retribution. Before the corn dogs had arrived, my friend Adam politely asked the waitress and manager what was causing the delay. The waitress replied with something along the lines of "The cooks are just not all there. We're missing alot of things and they're kind of just putting things together." This was not exactly inspiring. The actual food arrives about 30 minutes after the corn dogs. The food was delivered by Hannah and the Manager. Hannah gave us the food in a normal fashion. The manager rudely plopped the food down on the table and stormed off. We gobble this food down. I got the burger. Honestly, it was pretty bad. The patty itself was bland and greasy. The bun crumbled in my hand halfway through eating it. Can't complain too much about the tater tots though. We finished our food and got the checks. The checks came back in a timely manner. We gave them
Our cards without too much thought. After closer inspection we realised we had been charged for the corn dogs and charged for the tater tots that were subbing the fries that they had run out of to begin with. Obviously we complained. We were charged an extra 25 dollars that we should not have been charged for. Hannah is clearly upset and is complaining about the time it will take to fix the issue and essentially tried to talk us out of receiving our refund. She gets it done eventually and we leave. I tipped 2.85, but honestly shouldn't have tipped at all. The rest of my party did not tip. We leave the restaurant and walk towards our cars. Hannah flicks us off from the window and chases us down to cuss us out. We argue for some time about not tipping and how the manager sucks and Hannah was not particularly a novel waitress to begin with and eventually just walked away but not before she gets the final word of "f*** you guys" out before going back to work. I don't understand how something like this can even happen. I'm astonished. The morning after around 6 AM I woke up feeling extremely nauseous. After a quick trip to the bathroom I threw up the entirety of my "dinner." Do yourself a favor and don't ever visit this "restaurant."
Best wings in Clemson!! We love the atmosphere too.
Fun place to hang out before the game Try the Clemson good night!!!
Love this place. Best college bar feel
Great atmosphere, good food, great beer!
Coldest beer in town. Love those wings. A variety of flavors.
I always go for the chicken quesadilla. Cool place to hangout. Beer and food is reasonably priced.
Food and service are always wonderful here. The Meatloaf is grest, and is my favorite.
Walked in at 9:55 (they stop serving food at 10) and they sat is right away and took our orders even though it was time for the kitchen to close. All of the staff were super nice. Wound up being dollar Burger night (Wednesday) so got a super cheap meal and awesome service. Topped it off with a pitcher of "Clemson Goodnight"
Another old Clemson bar. Better location than most. Lots of room and good food.
College town bar so the crowd is pretty typical. Had lunch there and was satisfied with the overall experience. We sat in a back room, the server was alright and the service was reasonably quick.
