Served rancid mussels and the waiter argued with us. The “crispy” gnocchi is store bought gnocchi dough, fried in oil. They never boiled it to cook properly, resulting in gluey mush.

A great place for brunch! Amazing food & a great 2 hour unlimited drink special complimented by a friendly, very attentive staff. Between my wife and I, we've tried many of the menu options and thoroughly enjoyed everythingnever a bad meal! Definitely one of my favorite places!

For appetizers we got the eggplant parm. Then we got the rigatoni with bolognese and the salmon with couscous and the chocolate cake for dessert. The eggplant parm and the pasta were amaaazing. The pasta was so perfectly cooked and I loved it. My boyfriend thought his salmon was too salty though and didn't really like the spinach. The service was phenomenal also.

The first time I went to Verde on Smith was 2016, a hot sunny day and my family and I were looking for somewhere to brunch. At the time, we were told an exorbitant wait time but people came ahead of us who were of a different color and were seated in 15 minutes. None the less I was very turned off and we ended up going down the block to a mexican restaurant with delicious pancakes which has become a favorite brunch spot of ours.
Verde on Smith just left a sour taste in my mouth, but I heard the food was good and I still wanted to try it. Second time must be the charm. This time I did a reservation on open table. We arrived 30 minutes early and we were seated.
The food was incredible, our waiter kept the drinks coming and made sure we got our full two hours of unlimited even though we had finished our food already. I got the salmon fritate with capers and my man got the eggs benedict without the ham on smoked salmon. I devoured my whole plate and his I don't even like eggs but this was delicious.
The service was beyond impeccable, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We don't usually tip 20% but today we were just in awe. I work in food service so I know how difficult it is to have a great food staff but Verde exceeds expectations.response / report this review -

I definitely recommend Verde! For friendly brunch with refreshing unlimited bellini, mimosas, and much more, or a nice cozy romantic dinner.. Great selection of wines, and delicious delicious food ;)

This place offers a great brunch on Saturday. The family and I went with a group of eight and had no issues with service. It was so great that the waiter brings you another drink as you finish your last with the unlimited offer. Mimosas, belini, or a bloody Mary will keep you in the happy zone with great brunch selections. A must attend event every weekend!
