Didn’t even know you could review a college on google. Well this is great, I’d like to inform you that my two years here has been horrible. Counselors are impossible send you down the wrong path you will end up having to change majors and are even hard to get appointments with!

Parking lot is way too hectic and the classrooms are outdated ( with the exception of the new building )

This "college" feels like High school but more relaxed. The students all seem like scared, meek sheep that are very unfriendly. Why? Because they are all afraid of offending someone on accident or afraid to say the wrong thing and look stupid.. in class NOBODY participates or raised their hands. My teacher have had to stop letting me answer or reply. literally telling me to put my hand down. The classes are all taught fro a book or powerpoint.. I could go through the powerpoints at home.. and never go to class and still pass. but you hjave to attend.

best damn science education in county! They give kids access and kept valuable supplies while integrating technology! They should tenure more math and science teachers and maintain access to sciences to working class kids and adults! Too bad they don't also hire more janitors, grounds people and counselors as well! But they need to provide students with the information that allows students to access universities globally. Come on Ventura College! Either you are raising students to complete globally or you aren't! Which is is going to be? Are you the pirates or aren't you?

I went to Ventura College for a few years and liked the experience. I had good teachers and it was a great place to take classes before I decided on what major I wanted.

Warning Old Guy going back to school and getting in everybody's way! So far I am very happy with it here. Lots of help getting me set up. I am amused at the comments mentioning cuisine choices and "real world" teaching. Seems like just the place for me. Darn Skippy.
Another day - I just went to the bookstore. Very helpful and informative. 😉
