Cherished my time there. And I first learned there what I have instilled in every job since I left that you get out what you put in. Sometimes it was hard but it was well worth it. Its best asset is its faculty and staff who are always supportive and caring.

Mars Hill provides an excellent education with cream of the crop professors and majors offered by only one or two institutions in the state. The historic campus is beautiful though historic significance is given little thought outside of the quad with numerous properties acquired and demolished by the campus to make way for new construction. General disrepair occurs all over campus, namely in dormitories. Staff is excellent and generally helpful in all departments (registrar, financial aid, etc.). Tuition is absurdly overpriced, dining is adequate, and student activities are lacking.
