Amazing! It’s my family tradition to go here every time we’re in the city. Super cute place with a wide verity of delicious pastries. The Steamed Almond Milk is a must try!

Fifth generation bakery makes anyone who enters its doors feel like a kid againthe eyes become a little bigger, the heart beats a little quicker and your senses tell you - you're about to have a good time. I'm never disappointed, and always buy more than I can eat. Mini Sfogliatell is my absolute favorite!

The owner of this place, Robert, is really a great guy! I had an issue with his business that he personally sorted out so i gave them another chance. Man, im glad i did bc their pastries are amazing! Thanks again and i highly recommend everyone to stop in if you got a sweet tooth like me.

Basing this solely on my cannoli- pretty mediocre. I got the chocolate covered, and the chocolate was good but the pastry was a little cardboard-y. Good pastry cream on the inside but I would have preferred ricotta which didn't look like an option for the chocolate covered. Good prices though, and you can get table service.

I would say Veniero's is yum yum pastry for the eyes and the taste. Different owners since its 1894 origin I've made changes to the cafe and quality. My favorite here is an iced cappuccino where they use gelato instead of ice. Wow that is good. Possibly the only Cafe that I know that makes it this way. Traditional Italian bakery with cookies biscuits and cakes. Sinfully delicious. I only hope the latest new owners maintain the taste quality that has made Veniero's an institution in the East Village

Awesome! I love the windmill cake, cheesecake and cookies. I need to go back with others so we can order a lot and sample each others. The seating area is warm and welcoming.

Quick service, great range of desserts and cakes, and all very reasonably priced! The tiramisu is meant to be one of the best in NYC (although not a very traditional recipe), and the fruit tarts are custardy and delicious. You can get messages piped on a chocolate sign for the cake for an additional $2 - and the staff have even been so kind as to pipe a cake that I brought in for free! (Be sure to tip accordingly though ;))

I've always loved this place. Been going for over 2 decades and I won't stop. It's a great stop on a date, a special occasion, or if you have a sweet tooth craving. Great variety, amazing food. Can't get enough.

Delicious! Great prices, friendly people and very laid back. There are so many options we didn't know where to start. We ended on the gelato (it was so hot out) and cannoli. Very yummy.

it's 4 pm on a Sunday and I've been here countless times and no experience was quite like this one. When I say Veniero's is NEVER empty, I mean it, it's always packed being one of the greatest pasticcerias in the world, and today TODAY IT WAS EMPTY!!! No wait time at all omg. What a miracle.

Really good sweets here. Not a cheap place but you get good quality and a nice sized slice of cake! Coffee was good, bummer no refills $2.50 a cup and it's a smallish cup too, so plan on two cups for one slice. Ha. I'll be back So many things to try.

Totally great place wonderful experience, excellent pastries so many choices I've try many and just can't satisfy myself. Truly recommend a visit if your visiting NY. The cakes are just beautiful super service. I am not exaggerating.

1. Tiramisu cake (!) - important difference from pastry that cake's without alcohol. Loved the back layer of ladyfingers- they are absolutely amazing. Cake itself was good, tasty, but not the best for me for sure.
2. Black forest - very moist, lots of cherries. Nice.
3. Chocolate covered cannoli with choc feeling - it seemed tasty, but I guess (cause there's nothing to compare) it was not 100% perfection. And I felt taste of oil in crust.
Resume: visited, marked, not gonna come back - nothing special. Maybe just to try Sicilian cheesecake.response / report this review
