Very Disappointed with Vandrie We were promised that if we purchased the protection plan for our new mattresses that Vandrie would replace any mattress that was stained. Now the want me to call a company in Canada to have them cleaned. I wouldn't trust this company.

Visited VanDrie Home Furnishings in Traverse City looking for an accent chair. Jeff was patient with us while looking over the entire store and tentatively picked one out; however, since it was the first store we visited, we wanted to look at other stores, too. Indeed, we found the perfect chair at another store, but did return to VanDrie to purchase an end table we saw there. Jeff was very frustrated with us that we purchased a chair elsewhere, kept telling us that he could have beaten the price we paid elsewhere, etc. As for the end table, since the floor model had a blemish, we chose to have a new one sent from the warehouse. Much to our surprise, when I went to pick it up, it was still in the box! The warehouse person told me that they never put things together unless it's a big delivery. I sent an email to Jeff (who is the sales manager) but NEVER received a reply. Needless to say, we will not return to this store.

Came here to look for a mattress and box spring. My mom and I were approached by Chad when we entered. We told him what we were looking for and he immediately led us to the mattress section. He asked what our price range was and what my softness preference was. After answering him he led us to the perfect option. We asked when we could have it delivered and was told next Saturday. Since we wanted to get it the day we were there we told him we were going to rent a U haul and would be back. He patiently waited for us to return and assisted us again. Overall Chad was very friendly and knew exactly what we needed. When we asked about shipping they gave us a quote half of other stores and they have great products for very reasonable prices.

We just purchased a new mattress set from Van Drie. The delivery guys were super. The sales person, Lisa I believe though had led us to believe that they would take the old mattress free of charge. Found out when the delivery guys got here that isn't the case. My wife says she just "forgot" to mention the fee. I think it was an omission by design.

Friendly staff, nice selection. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is very "safe." And what I mean about that is, they don't really have any new trendy pieces. It's all stuff that, though nice, is very much classic and will work every where. Which is good, don't get me wrong. but it would be nice to see some of the newer trends as well.

I have purchased many furnishings from the Traverse City Store and have been very satisfied. This is the only furniture store I will shop at. Their furniture is of highest quality. Absolutely no pressure while you are looking around.
