Great opportunity to see how boats were run on the rivers years ago. Knowledgeable guides explain the boat operation and answer questions. Most of the boat is intact and any upgrades are identified. Shore side museum displays many displays of life on and along the river from past years. Highly recommended. Not handicapped friendly, will not accommodate wheelchairs at all. very limited parking and no parking for large vehicles. Be aware city law enforcement is aggressive on parking regulations.

The valley gem sternwheeler boat ride was fantastic all along the Ohio River I found out a lot of interesting things and I was even able to get something to drink downstairs, they also have a public restroom on the back of the boat and it's good to take children

We went on the Muskingum river cruise through the locks and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The rain didn't dampen the fun. The food was plentiful and delicious, much better than we were anticipating! We highly recommend the Valley Gem!

We have had our annual Christmas party with these guys for the last 2 years. They do a great job with food and service. Our cruises are a blast and it lets our employees unwind and enjoy the holidays. Definitely worth the time and investment.

This is a great place to rent for a wedding or take a cruise up the ohio or muskingum rivers to see fall foliage.

The wife & I loved the dinner cruise. The food was great and really enjoyed the river view from the upper deck. I would do this again if we were in the area.
