This place is very nice and affordable.. rustic lots are also available. Showers and fish cleaning stations are well maintained.

90% of these campsites or maybe 15 ft wide! If you're in a tent be prepared to sleep on crushed concrete that may or may not puncture a hole in the foot of your tent. If you don't like it they will keep your money and tell you to kick rocks and there's plenty of them on your campsite!! This Campground I have to say was atrocious. I highly recommend you find another place to go! Betsie River campsite is a great place there's steak camp areas around that are great. And you can fish in vacation trailer park even though you're not camping there! And on a side note the secretary receiving us was extremely rude to the people in front of us to us and our brother who was ahead of us. My opinion, it's only ask you to go and stay that with them there say no absolutely not!

I'm giving this place a one only because there is not a way to give less. Dive, dump, *}%^€~HOLE. There aren't enough negative adjectives to describe this place. Ohand pit. No fire pit on one of our sites. Totally misleading on sizes of sites. We are with another couple who have a 36 foot pull behind and we have a 34 foot fifth wheel. This was very clearly explained to the person making the reservations on the phone. Neither site was even remotely large enough for either camper. The space between us and the camper next to us is approximately 10-11 feet leaving no room for any type of set up or seating. The fire pit on our site is approximately 5 feet from the rear corner of our camper because the site is so small. Meaningneither of our TWO sites will be able to accommodate a fire. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$. WAAAAAAYYYYY BETTER LOCATIONS IN THIS BEAUTIFUL AREA!!!!!

I called and reserved #5 lot after I was told it could hold a large tent, a small tent and a screen house. The girl I spoke with told me it would all fit. A big fat misleading lie!!! We found the site measures about roughly 15'x 25' flat and the rest was on a steep hill. There wasn't even a picnic table on the site! The fire ring was almost on the road. The road noise was ridiculous! They offered a different site by the road even closer. I called Timberline Campground and got into #247 right next to a brand-new beautiful bath house with a huge pool with at least 12 umbrellas and tables! Think big! The site was 80' x 40' and cost the same as this resort. Timberline is way off the road so you hear no noise and have plenty of trees and clean brand-new bathhouse and pool in the back. I canceled my reservation at Vacation Trailer Park because I felt they were misleading on the quality of their sites and Park. They should put the measurements on their map along with obstructions. They could've at least told us the truth when I called. I insisted on a refund, she said they would give us credit. I would never go there again. They kept my $50 deposit. I believe that that was wrong because they were misleading. And 60s later we still haven't received the rest of our $106 refund it's pending on our bank. Now we have to take our receipts to our bank and dispute this. Overall don't go to this park go down the street to miles to Timberline and you will be much happier.

Loved the place when I was young. Understand exactly where you are going before you drive your rv through Park. A mistake will leave you with damage to RV. Small RVS won't have trouble but if you have over 24ft,make sure you know where in the park it is. Avoid trouble by walking to your site prior to driving RV.

Do not go to this place. The employees are very rude! Had friends come up to visit and there was one guy that worked at this campground made an unpleasant experience about my friends being here. Don't even get me started with the "parking issue." At least the bathrooms were clean. It's right by the highway so all you hear is traffic. I will never bring myself or my family to this place ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
