  One of my favorite bars in Portage Lakes. Always a great atmosphere, and cheap drink specials. Great place to visit in the summer time.

  I hate it here. The bar itself is small and always overcrowded. The bartenders are rude.there isn't even a dance floor. It's and area that is a walkway to the deck outside. So, drunk dumb ass men can knock the girls over and poor drinks on them and get handsy. But no worries, they won't do anything about it. And the crowd this place draws.. rich entitled white kids and their parents or gross ass hicks. I mean, this place is almost trashier than college bars. Oh! And ladies, I'm 5'8" and my feet barely touch when I'm on the toilet there. Bathrooms suck.
  
  One upside is the drinks aren't too expensive.

  Dinner is alright, but the breakfast experience here is an absolute joke. Waitress took our order and then disappeared. Finally found her behind the bar having a drink.
  
  Three of our party got the omelette bar which was absolute madness. They ordered at the same time and one of the omelettes took an extra 45 minutes.
  
  My food finally showed up and it wasn't at all how I ordered it. By the time they fixed it the rest of my food was ice cold. Still never had our waitress come back

  Food and service were good, not excellent, but good enough. The setting overlooking one of the Portage Lakes is nice, but the deck and building could use some refurbishing.

  Very crowded at 9pm on Saturday night but was able to still find a seat. Nobody was coming around to serve us so we had to stand around the extremely crowded lower bar to get served. They were very quick and attentive when getting our drinks though. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean for porta potties.

  After 25+ years of going to the UPPER DECK, this is sadly the LAST TIME! After a VERY large bill and unacceptable service they dared to complain about a tip after it wasn't appreciated! Gratuity is earned as a reward. I know this because I have worked in the industry. Sadly we are not the only party to this unbelievable experience! Band was great!! Best wishes on cleaning up the service & poor attitude of a few staff members!!

  This place is usually hopping and has a fun atmosphere, there are normally bands booked for the summer and it's a great hang out place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. The food is amazing! Great menu that's not 8 pages long, a little something for everybody.
  
  Sometimes service falls a little behind and it's understandable with how packed it gets. Gotta cut the girls a break when they try to hunt down people who aren't actually sitting at a table. Table space is limited, get there early of you want to grab a seat and hold onto it for the evening. Corn hole can be played on the deck and there's an outside bar that's shaded to sit at.
  
  Overall great place, try it out sometime, especially if you like to people watch. There are always some interesting characters.

  Great specials. I do like their salmon but. Live bands often. Outdoor space overlooks a channel opening into the west reservoir of the Portage Lakes. Often packed on weekends. Favorite hangout place for motorcyclists.

  The owner Lisa is the most amazing person i have ever met. This place has the best food on the water hands down. The Upper Deck has the cheapest drinks yet the best drinks on the entire lakes system. If you are looking for fun and entertainment, great food, sunshine and water then come to the most Put-In-Bay type bar/restaurant in the Portage Lakes or Akron for that matter, then head out to the Upper Deck Bar & Grill
