Lovely area with great trails! We went on one off the busiest days (full parking lots) but still didn't see many people on the trails since it's so massive!

Beutiful place for walks, meditation and outdoor sports activities. Specially good visiting during a week when it's quiet and not so crowded.

Lovely for hikes. The horticultural area has a huge variety of trees that are tagged so you can learn what they are. I always have a relaxing time - just wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy in the springtime!

Amazing place to jog or ride a bike. If you're lucky you can spot turkeys roaming freely!

Visiting the garden during the spring when all the trees are in full bloom is a must have experience for anyone who has the opportunity to do so.

We just got back from our WONDERFUL guided tour with Roshelle (Shelly) and I can't speak highly enough of her knowledge and expertise as a naturalist. She brought the facts and history of the Arboretum "alive" with great stories and her passion for nature. Thank you!!!! We are so lucky to have such a natural gem in our city and all the staff and volunteers to support it!!!!

Lovely fall hiking amongst a variety of heirloom trees on the front lawn note the patchwork of red, yellow, orange and gold in the fall. Hike to Icky boardwalk or turtle pond for a feeling of deep nature. There is a rumor of a lost city in the woods, see if you can find it!

Beautiful hiking, biking, and cross country skiing right in the middle of the city! :) Deer, cranes, turkeys, owls, butterflies - what a wonderful place to spend a few hours.

    Free to everyone.
