Absolutely worth the trip. The visitors center is full of newly updated activities and exhibits. There are books and guides to take with you on the trails and the wildlife abounds. Mostly staffed by great volunteers with a passion for the work they do.

Beautiful area with walkways and binoculars to view wildlife. The Center has some nice displays about habitat and animals. My kids really enjoyed visiting, both when we went on our own and when we took a tour with a group. The staff did a lovely job with our tour!

I've been hunting and hiking in the refuge for 20+ years and have always had success deer hunting. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to sit back and enjoy nature.

Love this place, wonderful facility, with longer and shorter hiking path. Hope to be lucky next time to see deer, etc.
