The faculty are amazing! All the ones I've been in contact with have been extremely polite, kind, and helpful. Nearly all questions I had were answered quickly, and I even had some questions answered before I could even ask them. They were very helpful throughout the financial aid process as well, double checking with me almost every step of the way. Professors respond relatively quickly and always answer questions in a way that students understand.

I'm on my fourth semester now, and it's been a hassle. I wouldn't consider myself to be a slacker- maybe a bit uninitiated when it comes to getting work done, but in my experience in this and the past semester, the teachers I have in major-specific courses are absolutely horrible at responding to what I send them. That's not a good sign. I tried a semester of one major, and that bounced back on me hard. Grades came in late, and the teacher usually didn't provide much in the way of responses when it came to me messaging them for a bit of help or clarification. The same can be said for another, only I was directly told to see the teacher after class (which I can't do) or the tutors. They still haven't responded to any of my messages. From what I've experienced thus far, I feel like I'm only paying extra to be in a smaller classroom.

So I am a student ambassador at UAT as well as a student. I have been coming here for 3 semesters already and am currently in my fourth. I have come to know a very large amount of people here as the school is fairly small.
One quick thing to mention is that just like any other school, you get out of it what you put in. So if you put in 100% then you will have a great time.
There are plenty of notable perks within the school. They have lots of up to date technology, the teachers are all very well trained in their fields, and the students are all either very friendly or they keep to themselves. There is a very large variety of classes available to students ranging from Astronomy, to Fencing, to Cinematography, and the list goes on. The staff are more than capable of handling any issues that come up, and they all have real personalities. All of the staff are easily approachable and more than willing to chat if you have any issues.

I've been attending UAT for over a year now, and I really enjoy this school. I have two strong recommendations for anyone looking into attending - know what you want to study and do more than what is assigned. I've really enjoyed this school because I knew I wanted to study computer science, and since day one of attending I've gotten to take core programming classes and make some awesome projects. The school also gives its students an unlimited amount of opportunity to really branch out and create their own things; they just have to want to do that. Those that go the extra mile here get to take advantage of working with outside companies and selling their own products while in school. It is awesome that the school lets you have all of your IP and will never take it or profit from it, too.

I’m currently a senior at UAT and my experience at the school so far has been pretty enjoyable. The class sizes are small and professors are very approachable and easy to talk to if you require assistance with anything. Classes are also often project based which means you’d be doing mostly hands-on work while you’re here which is much more helpful for tactile learners, like me. The school also has multiple outlets to help you obtain an internship, which is required to have done before you graduate. I took my chances and attempted to obtain a graphic design internship at the school, which luckily paid off and I got the spot. Aside from that, there are also plenty of career fairs, which are held by the school in order to help students find work once they finish their schooling. I would recommend going to as many of these as possible and avoid putting it off until the last possible chance. It definitely helps give you a better sense of security in the upcoming semesters. There are also plenty of interesting or fun tools here, most of which are in the New Technologies Lab. Personally, I haven’t really used the lab quite as much, but I have used the Wacom tablets and certain tools up in the Maker’s Space for either art or cosplays. I’ve also gotten to use the Digital Video equipment while I was taking classes, which I highly recommend if only to have some fun making videos and to see the crazy amount of work that goes into even a two-minute short-film.

I am a Robotics and Embedded Systems student and from my experience in my major I think the school is awesome! My professor is very knowledgeable and one of the best professors I have ever had because he really wants his students to succeed. He does everything he can to help when we need it. There are a couple of things that, as I have gone through the program, I would consider changing but overall I feel like I’ve had a really great experience at UAT.

I think one of the best benefits when it comes to the education received at UAT, is that the school hires professors who have lots of experience working in the field. Another plus is that students are encouraged, through their classes, to work on projects so that they acquire hands on experience and have something to show and prove that they have done the work. However, no school is perfect but one thing that has impressed me about the school is that while I have been here the faculty and staff have always been willing to help and listen to students. In my case, any issue that I have had was resolved after speaking with staff who were willing to help fix the situation. That is something I do appreciate. I would recommend this school to others who are really interested in technology.

I've always loved video games and decided I wanted to study Game Art and Animation. When I found out that UAT was huge in game studies, I decided it was the right place for me. I love learning about my passion knowing that I'm starting my dream career now! The professors are so awesome and will make time to answer questions, give feedback and help students whenever they can.
