I graduated in 2015 as a medical lab tech. I'm now over 30k in the hole, and unable to find a job as a medical lab tech. They didn't even give me am externship like they promised. Waste of my time and a total waste of money. GCU won't even take some of my credit because they know it's all BS.
I was scammed out of a program as a PCT there. Perfect attendance, 4.0 gpa the entire time. But they took my federal aid money and said they dropped my program before I could complete the internship that was supposed to be a month long working at the VA hospital. It cost me over $20,000 in federal debt and did not receive my certification. Also all the instructors were supposed to be actual medical doctors- MD's which was a lie. Choose a different school. The curriculum wasn't even worth the money, for any of the programs. The school was named IIA, international institute of the Americas when I attended at a different location. My scheduler and the Dean of the school quit before I found out they closed my program. One of the instructors was fired for having inappropriate relations with 3 students, one of the girls admitted this to me personally and he was replaced while I was attending the class that day. He was just a basic lab tech claiming to be a doctor. This place is a serious rip off. There are far better tech schools. Changing locations and names did nothing. It's still the same place. There's more but I could spend forever explaining how screwed up this school was to me and several other students.
Great school. Staff is super friendly and answered all my questions. Excited to start my career.
Classes are highly interactive, challenging and most professors are highly qualified with MSN PHD or doctors degrees with years of educational experience. They prepare you for your new career. Their BSN NCLEX passing rates are top notch in the 90th percentage.
Very shady business model! They are attempting to withhold student loan money, Pell grants, and more after withdrawing from the school AND have the nerve to charge money for withdrawing telling my wife and I that it's because of "loss of business" on their end. They are a huge contributer in giving people the idea that trade schools are inferior to universities and community college. STEER CLEAR!
This school never had enough tools we always had to share they treat you like gold when you are a prospective student after that they dont care about you. I had a great teacher there who changed my life Mr. kennedy who is no longer there the rest of the teachers were terrible. I got kicked out 2months prior because i caught strep throat the day befor final and my teacher saw down my throat! Saying oh yeah thats infected but still failed me for being sick not showing i emailed my final in they didnt cate they already had me in debt!
This place is all about money I went in to learn about a $900 CNA course, and they instead tried to sell me a $32,000 degree after telling me they didn't do the CNA course this place is the educational equivalent of a used car lot be prepared for a high pressure sale and plenty of "bait & switch" tactics check out a local community college instead folks
Very good online school. The years I that I attended was very educational and interesting; I learned a lot. I'm so proud that I received my B.S. degree in Business Management from Brookline - Online (Phoenix). The staff and instructors are very nice and professional.
horrible school, avoid this school, they may talk a big deal about their programs, and such. But the school creates the curriculum, and the teachers ALL grade the courses their own way. There is no consistency for the grading. You can do great in one professors class, but not the others. This is due to the fact that they all grade on their own way
I am currently a student at Brookline, and I couldn't feel more confident about my future. I came in unsure, insecure and full of doubt..but that quickly changed after speaking to Bruce in admissions. He answered every one of my questions with honesty and reassured me in making the best decision. He boosted my confidence and all my worries flew out the door. The staff here aren't sales people..they genuinely care about your future. All the tools and resources are at your fingertips and I believe it's their passion to see someone succeed. They start by helping you select the programs and courses to fit your life schedules, all the financial aid and you can take advantage of then, your set on your way and it only continues as you get to the classroom. The instructors are there to make sure you get every piece of knowledge and understanding that you will need. With their experience and know how you can be assured you will have what it takes to be successful in your career. Trust me when I say if your looking for a brighter future, or a new beginning, Brookline college is my number 1 recommendation.
