Walls have cracks in them, hot water tank breaks at least 5 times a semester, only 2 washers and dryers for the whole building and they are always broken. Only one running bus during the week days 7am-6pm. Any other times you have to walk. Had black mold on my bedroom walls and window that had to be torn out. Honestly should be paid to live here, the rent is not worth it.

    Looking for a ZERO star!
Absolutely horrible. Save your mental agony by not staying here. They would oversell their parking spaces and then call Towing company to tow your car away cause you parked at a hatched area because every other f***ing spot is taken!

My roommates and I were practically ideal tenants- we never threw parties and always kept the apartment clean. I was expecting to get the majority of my security deposit back and ended up getting practically nothing. They love to rip people off.

I am a REAL person who ACTUALLY rented a place at UT from 2016-2017. STUDENTS BEWARE. Never put yourself in a position where you need to rent an apartment from this horrible management company. LOOK FOR APARTMENTS EARLY. There is a REASON why University Terrace is everyones "LAST RESORT" in State College. This place is an odious cesspool from (I think) the 60s. It is so outdated and disgusting, yet it costs >$1800 for a 3 BR. As a student, sure, this looks affordable when you split amongst your mates. But once you enter the real world, get a real apartment from a real landlord or a real management company, you realize you got horribly ripped off living at the Apartment Store's University Terrace. And to make it worse, the management who runs the place is composed of the most ruthless, insensitive, money-hungry individuals to walk this earth. Funny too, because, they're so ignorant and unhelpful, that I bet they lack the proper degrees (or a degree at all) to make a student's experience at UT pleasant. This place will take your security deposit, take your rent, and charge you fee after fee after fee until you realize you sold your soul for 12 months to a fascist company only looking to further their overpriced, ridiculous agenda and make your life miserable. BEWARE.

My friends lived here for a year. Bigger apartments are good for parties if you don't have bad neighbors. Smaller studio Apartments are quite practical for price. Only one bus to campus.

Terrible customer service, Apartments are haggard, 30 year old furniture that they think is new, asbestos ceiling tiles, all for a premium price nickel-ed and dimed to the max. Don't sign any contract here! Hire a lawyer first!

This place is the absolute WORST! Look for somewhere else to live because it is not worth the headache. They are thieves and will try to suck all of your security deposit money in slick ways. The apartment itself is crummy and falling apart. Not at ALL worth 485 a month. Save yourself the extra stress and live elsewhere. That one star is because I HAVE to, if not, I wouldn't even give them that.

This place was AWFUL. It was old and out dated. Also they will not give you your security deposit back. I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom and They still took out like $300 for cleaning. THREE HUNDRED For an apartment. I do not recommend this place.

Great social atmosphere and great people around you. But the apartment itself is ancient and falling apart, the maintenance staff only temporarily fixes things and tries to charge you when they break again. The heating and cooling in YOUR apartment is controlled by the apartment next door (Yeah I'm dead serious) and parking is an extremely expensive extra charge and isn't even guaranteed, during event weekends you can be left without a spot and the office doesn't care. The toilets run constantly and every single sink is connected to a drain somewhere else. My roommate had all the backup from the kitchen sink come out of his bathtub, it was gross. All around this place is great if you don't intend to spend much time there or you just want a place to party into the ground, but nothing more than that.
