Small quaint airport, food choices are limited to one deli but the food is delicious. Don't expect the speed of major airports. Take your time
$40 to park for 2 days
Never again I’ll just drive to Pittsburgh or Harrisburg because the flights from here are astronomically priced
Quiet and cozy. Hard to get lost. There's an Irving's with lots of delicious options. I had a breakfast sandwich and rate it a 5/5 stars. Love this airport!
University Park Airport is very typical of a small town airport. There's an Irving's cafe inside and a small gift shop, but that's it. The nice thing is that its small size means that generally getting through security and onto your plane is a pretty quick process. Of course then you still have to deal with all of the pain of airline travel
Cute tiny functional airport. United small aircraft was actually ok and had a smooth landing.
Love this little airport, beats driving to Pittsburgh, unfortunately though flights sometimes are late and there is a lack of food options actually within the airport, not to mention the higher price of flights from here, sometimes it is worth the drive to Pittsburgh.
I always fly into and out of this airport because of the easy parking, short security lines, and general ease of not having to travel through a huge airport. This place is very small, and doesn't really have many stores, but that's not why I come here. You can arrive really close to your flight and not worry about the hassle of moving around a giant airport from terminal to terminal. It has everything I need from a origin/destination point: on time planes, car rentals, and a manageable parking lot. I've never had a bad experience here.
I have never flown out of this airport or into this airport without my flight being canceled, sitting on the runway for 2 hours, or delayed. Started driving 3 hours to Pittsburg to fly anywhere because it's not worth it.
A very small one. Not international. Normally connecting flights to different cities
The baggage lady was unpleasant. And this airport is just completely underprepared for any situation. Horrible experience
Feb 21 2017: Ive been coming through state college Airport for a bit as im coming up to visit my girlfriend. Its always a pleasure to fly here with Delta, I have had issues in the past with American Airlines. But besides the point..
The reason for my 5 star rating today is because of a rep for Delta named Mark. He was extremely helpful, and went out of his way to change seats for me. He holds a high character for care and comfort for patrons coming into this airport. He's a reason I stay with Delta, and why i shall continue to stay a loyal customer. You help make SCE a nice place to stop all worries. Thank you for your service Mark.
The FBO is really nice, but I have a hard time justifying the $20 landing fee for GA when other local airports do not charge. Unfortunately, it's why I don't have my student pilots fly here any more. I miss the CSR lady that sells the flower baskets in the spring! They are absolutely beautiful.
