Very nice clean motel. Good beds nice lobby friendly staff
Loved the remodel. Friendly staff. I was a little bummed that the pool was taken out and the new one wasn't in yet. But loved the area that use to be the pool. The restaurant was also good. We only had breakfast but was nice.
I have been to this newly remodeled hotel a few times. It is a very clean hotel and the staff is always nice and professional. Thos time I took my son to a driving school class. First time I entered the conference room. It is large and very spacious.
Dissatisfied completely. Advertise pool on website and on sign IN the hotel and there IS NONE. Ice machine on our floor did not work. Laundry facilities were not set up to use. There was no toilet paper in our room. The two girls at front desk stared creepily at us every time we walked by. Said they would have manager contact us and never did. It looked like only four rooms in hotel were occupied. When asked about the pool we were told there isn't one. It's being moved. Why is it still on website and sign still in lobby? Answer: we are aware that's disappointing. Told about ice machine? Same answer. Spend the extra few bucks and stay somewhere else until they get their act together, if they ever do.
Four of us stayed for one night in a two queen bed room. There was enough space, towels, etc. The furnishings were new, bed and pillows were fine. We skipped breakfast for a place nearby, but I saw a selection of cereals. Overall fine for what we needed.
I booked a room the week of the Clemson Louisville game last fall after it was announced that Clemson would be the host of College Gameday. As you can imagine, demand for rooms in Clemson were sky high.
I didn't go in expecting much more than a bed and a roof over my head, but boy was I surprised! All the rooms had been completely redone and were modern and clean. There was construction going on for what looked to be an atrium and conference center, but there was no work being done during early morning or at night.
The staff was very friendly and pleasant and were accommodating to our needs. The breakfast was simple, but the waffles and coffee were a nice touch and got us going for the long day ahead.
Bottom line: we enjoyed our stay and I will be back soon!
Clemson University Inn and Conference Center is certainly a decent choice for lodging in the area. Bathroom and room well kept and clean. Unique atrium with balconies from rooms above in the center. All around a pleasant experience. Surrounding area is not necessarily attractive however
Rooms and view were really cool. Very enjoyable. The beds are excellent. My one complaint was the quality of breakfast. There was plenty to choose from but none of it was fresh. The biscuits and bagels were hard as rocks and a bunch of the pastries were packaged. Other than that, it'll be a great place to stay once they finish construction.
