  Renting a U-haul is not what I would call "fun". And the computer systems that U-Haul works with are a pain in the butt. But Miss T was really helpful in getting us in a truck ASAP and being really clear and honest. If you pay attention and go in with a smile and some patience, U-Haul at Lake Ave will be a good experience. The truck was in perfect condition & they were straight forward about the fees and such. Oh, and I recommend getting the $14 insurance. I didn't need it luckily, but it was great peace of mind to have.

  I made a reservation here for 7am pickup. My time was changed to 530 pm, and it was changed to a different location. I received no phone call or email or text, which I gave all of these options. I understand that's not the fault of this store, and it's not why I gave it 1 star.
  I was upset and told the tall employee that was wearing a bucket hat how I received no call. He immediately responds "look, it's not our fault you can take it up with corporate" in a much more ignorant form of speech. I tried to say I wasn't mad at him but he then cut me off and goes "are you gonna let me finish talking?" That happened three times and I never even got a word in.
  Even the other customers were shocked because he reacted as if I flipped out on him, when all I was trying to tell him was corporate messed up. Instead of just saying "yeah I'm sorry man that really stinks I know you have to move," he literally lost it and interrupted me three times. He also could have looked up where another U-Haul truck was available. But, instead, I found one myself. I got a truck at ridge road U-Haul and the staff was very helpful (David?).
  Long story short, even if it was me that messed up, he assured I will never be back to that site. I wish I got his name but I was in too much shock. He was over 6 feet, black, and was wearing a bucket hat.

  Make sure you ask specific times for what "morning:", "midday", and "afternoon" mean because it is not colloquial terms. midday was not given to me as an option and I picked afternoon, expecting something no later than 3 pm. Apparently afternoon means 6 pm to u-haul. Show me one person who said, "I'll be over this afternoon." and showed up at your house at 6 pm or later and I'll change my review to 5 stars.

  I always have a really quick, easy and pleasant experience with this location. I've rented trucks from them three different times over the last few years with no problems. Trucks are in decent condition and the process is easy, especially if you're picking up early. Would recommend!

  Benjamin is nice but Tedana is so unprofessional and rude. She was so sarcastic and nasty. I asked if she needed the master order number to look up my order and she said "No, I'm psychic I just know everything." When we found out that my early check in didn't go through, she said "that's a damn shame" and didn't offer to help and kept swearing even though she reminded herself out loud multiple times "mustn't swear on duty, mustn't swear on duty" and then continued to swear at me on duty. I'll never go here again.

  ive rented them 3 times in the last 4 months and they have all been very helpful n humble, from the manager to the cashier
  were movin to florida and i will be rentin from them for our move down south..

  Customer service was terrible. The employees were rude and one employee even swiped the back of our U-Haul truck and the side mirror (when we were returning it) because he was trying to get another truck out of the parking lot. The employee was rude to us when we pointed it out and denied that the cars hit when three people (including myself) witnessed it. We weren't charged for any damage, hopefully the person renting the other truck wasn't charged. Will not be going to that location in the future.
