I love Trout House so hard. I’ve been here in cold and warm weather and it’s truly a great place to stay, if not a bit remote. Jog up to the towns original cemetery and see graves from Revolutionary soldiers (but be careful as the road lacks a shoulder in many places). Take a canoe out on the water. Play shuffle board. Grill!!! And sit by the fire. It’s fantastic!!

Absolutely loved this place -the only reason to not give it a 5 star rating was not having a bathroom on the second floor of our cabin which was beautiful! - We are already planning a return trip here this fall 👍

I love the Trout House. I have been coming for years to watch the leaves change colors. This year, 2017, I spent my 40th birthday at the Trout House with 25 of my friends. All of the units I have ever stayed in or had friends stay in are cute, comfortable, clean and inviting. The activities on the property are fun. Alice and Nat have always been especially helpful.
