  Very kid friendly, super clean, not expensive! Has life jackets available, but most of the wading area is perfect for little ones. Good for preteen as well!

  A bit over priced but a good place for toddlers to older folks. The lazy river is nice as is the banana slide. Plenty of life jackets for the littles. The small double slides where the water is 6' deep needs new requirements other than the 48" height. 2 children needed rescued the evening we visited. The children were tall enough but were non swimmers. Deck area was clean and kids had a good time. Its a bit pricey so I suggest going on family night for reduced rates!

  Yeah, it gets a little crowded sometimes, but regardless it's awesome for Lafayette and fun with the kids. I just suck it up and enjoy it. Kind of hard not to.👍

  Please limit the amount of people swimming or increase the pool size, it's annoying picking little kids out of my butt every time I turn around.

  It's a decent place--unless you want to SWIM. Tropicanoe Cove has lots of bells and whistles (e.g. lazy river, a few slides, beach area for both volleyball and small children, kiddie pool area) but it lacks the most important thing of any aquatic facility--a large area where a person can SWIM. It's OK for 10 and under, but lacking for others. I compare it to a fancy-looking car with a new paint job and stereo system with a mediocre at best engine under the hood. West Lafayette's facility has that pool, diving boards, and is cheaper than Tropicanoe Cove. Given a choice, I'd choose WL's pool any day of the week.
