  We were very satisfied with the whole project. They were the Best! 2 roofs done in one day.
  Remove old shingles, replace bad plywood and install a Beautiful new roof. Cleaned the whole yard and we’re very happy. The workers worked nonstop and very polite.

  The crew was great to deal with. Paul, our project manager answered any questions and explained what needed to be done and what didn’t. They finished the project in 1 day, staying slightly later than I would have though a crew would, just to finish. When they were done, it was like they were never there. Not a scrap of debris.

  I rarely post reviews but here I am… with a long one. I really wanted to like J Smegal/Klaus roofing. Our sales person Jake was great answering my many questions thoroughly. When we put down the deposit I felt like we had done the research and made a good choice (we looked at over 5 places). We were eager to get our roof done as it had a minor leak (that we patched). They told us they were roofing out 4-6 weeks, which was another reason we chose them. We put the deposit down in late May. However, after the deposit we didn’t hear from them. I had to check in to get any kind of update. It rained hard all summer, I get it, not ideal roofing weather, but in this time our roof sprung more leaks. We were patching and practicing patience, but only through reaching out myself would I be able to get an update on where we were in their calendar. (I wished the office staff was more proactive with clearer updates…our money and roof were on the line!) Finally in October, after many date push backs, they were roofing. We were excited when they were done but not super thrilled with the work. J Smegal came, walked the roof and guaranteed the work himself after our skepticism. Two weeks later our roof leaked through two floors. We could hardly believe it. In December they came out and replaced the entire section that leaked. Now it is May, we had a minor storm Sunday evening and a completely different section is leaking through the ceiling. This is not quality work. Roofs are supposed to last 15+ years. I am having trouble reaching anyone at the company which is part of the reason I am writing this review.

  Roofers were courteous professional and quick. The whole roof was completed in two days all interactions with the roofers, the salesperson and office staff was smooth and easy. We didn't have room for a dumpster because of where the materials were delivered so we called and they immediately solved the problem switching to a dump trailer without any fuss. Very easy to work with and the new roof looks great!

  All representatives were courteous and professional. Their team of installers completed the stripping, repairing, and installation in one day!
  All grounds were inspected and cleaned.
  This is the second full roofing job that J Smegal has done for me.
  I would recommend J Smegal without exception.
