Great campground minutes away from DeSoto state park. The campground also has access to the lower part of DeSoto falls just a short 3/4 mile hike away. The staff members are great and very friendly. The park was very well maintained, and tent sites are very level.

Hidden gem in the woods. Very nice sized lots. Bathrooms/bathhouses very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will certainly visit again.

Ruth and Dewey were more than hospitable. I stayed here for four days and cant say enough great things. The campground is nestled between Mentone and Ft. Payne making it the perfect place to stay if you are visiting both parks. Beautiful grounds and amazingly well kept. The lake is fantastic and the bathhouses were great! Can not wait to come back!!

The office people were nice and friendly. I loved the shadyness of the Campground. We stayed right next to the lake that you could fish for free without a license. The only downside was the showers they were not very clean. Overall our trip was a blast.
