Great spot to get lunch while snowmobiling in the Rangeley area.

Awesome food and very clean and cute. Sherri the owner took great care of my brother and our friend when we had some time for lunch before a friend's wedding that day.
Pretty ride to get there too right past Flagstaff lake.

Very good food here at a tavern that is in a very remote location. You have to watch for the signs along Hwy 27. Trails End Inn is close to the Canadian border and above Eustis. Worth going to if you are up in this area. They are one of the few dining places in the area that are open every day and year round.

Love that's it's by a river and can kayak from a campground, and a good selection of beer, which was always served super fast. Lack of stars cuz the food was burnt, dry, and not very good that day.

The grilled prime rib sandwich is to die for. It is so good. Very, very tender.

Stayed at the chalet across the street for 6 weeks while working at Sugarloaf and came to trails end steakhouse for dinner and drinks after are long days at work and I have to say the prime rib on Thursdays is out of this world and on that note their rib eye steak are the best around if you like steak this is the place to go

We came in with a group of 6. We were never seated, never offered water, and barely had the two workers on staff barely look our way. After approaching the workers, seating ourselves (after being ignored for 10 minutes), and then being ignored another 10 minutes we left. It was quite literally the most frustrating and weird restaurant experience I've ever had. This is also my first negative review of a restaurant.

Beautiful interior. The decor and high top tables and bar done with live edge give a real rustic feel. The food is great. The service is excellent. Occasional live music on Saturday nights during the busy seasons makes this a great place for locals, part time locals and visitors from away.

Sept 4,2015 supper at the Tavern, we arrived and the place was full about 7pm, the hostess asked if we had reservations and when we said we didn't she looked discouraged then immediately changed her expression and told us not to worry she would find a way to seat us while we waited at the bar. About 5 min later we had a table. The waitress was lovely, the wait for supper a little slow as they were so busy, but worth the wait, prime rib cooked exactly as requested (quite rare) and a baked scallop dish, tender large scallops so much I brought half home. Clean and plain interior and obviously very popular with locals. We are up here from Mass. and pretty picky about our food.

The food is well-seasoned and the portions very generous (you will definitely have left-overs)! Service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is very casual and laid-back. On the way out Rt. 16, be sure to watch for the moose that come out to graze in the evening.

This is a local gem. The Google address is quite wrong it is on Eustis Village Road, on the east side of 27 going north. You may be the only out-of-towner eating .. everyone seems to know everyone. A family place, the grandfather makes the pies go on Thursday nights when there is the 2-fer special, including prime rib. Wonderful friendly service, careful cooking of simple food -- and a wonderful bargain, especially in this area!
