If you want a nice place to ride to. This place has a burger you will enjoy and the foliage going there is so nice.
Good place. Homey feel with great food and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
Greg and Annie do a great job. It's just Greg in the kitchen so it can be up to an hour for food. It's well worth it, their food is amazing and so is their coffee. While waiting grab a cup of coffee or a drink and a book and relax. Toymakers is a hidden gem in Northwest Connecticut. Must try items are the waffles and the burgers.
Got a table right away but still a good wait for food. On weekends fugedaboutit crazy wait times. Food is super super. Worth the wait. Really great.
I hate to be one of those people that says we waited an hour + for our food (busy Sunday morning) and they got 2 out of 3 meals wrong So I won't say it :-)
Nice hang out for biker-lites though.
Beautiful place to relax and grab a coffee. I visited as an AT THRU Hiker so they allowed me to tent on their property. Very grateful for this business.
American and British comfort foods, great waffles and egg dishes. This is an unusual restaurant - a favorite of locals, motorcyclists, and Appalachian Trail hikers. Excellent tea served in proper British tea pots. Every meal is prepared one at a time, so if it is crowded the wait can be long, but you are bound to fall into conversation with the varied and friendly crowd. Outdoor and front porch seating available too. Prices are modest.
One of my favorite stops when I am in Falls Village.
The food was delicious! Coffee was fantastic! And the atmosphere was lovely!
Good food, cool place to hang while in town!
Cozy atmosphere with charming locals! Wish I tried the food, I enjoyed a yummy cup of coffee. I'll definitely go back!
Came back and enjoyed some home cooking. It was delicious.
Food is really good. People are surely very friendly and helpful. The place looks pretty old and historic but it's such a lovely place.
Very good food and an incredibly warm staff. I can happily recommend the sandwiches, smoothies, muffins, and salads. There's a cool mix of bikers, hikers, and everyone else. (FYI they're very hiker friendly, you can camp for free)
