Ordered the hash with the roast beef, very disappointing after seeing the high reviews online. The potatoes were undercooked and flavorless with the meat included. For me this place was a one and done. Other then that the service was great and a good atmosphere but just a let down.

I have been here three times and each time has been a great experience. One time for dinner and twice just for drinks in the bar. It is a wonderful atmosphere to hang with friends. I would definitely go again!

Have been there for brunch twice. Very nice atmosphere and service. The location is very good, right next to prudential. The food is pretty good. Would recommend to friend

The food was good, and the pasteries that were given were great, however the grits were terrible. The service was rather poor. It took a very long time to get served and the waitress was not overly kind.

I would not recommend this Towne in the future.

Disappointingly small popovers (maybe 2" diameter?) after hearing so much about them Being in a pool of honey flavored sauce seemed an odd combo too. Maybe it was just a bad idea to try eating at the bar late at night. The fried clams were overly oily too.. Like the fryer wasn't hot enough.
None of it party thought the visit was worth repeating unfortunately 😔

I went there recently past weekend for a graduation celebration. The atmosphere was perfect for it! The dining service was great personable and attentive. I really enjoyed the dessert, the Molten Chocolate Cake was perfect combination of salty and sweet. I will definitely be back here!!

Place is at the larger side, so not necessarily ideal for smaller, more intimate gatherings. But ambience is excellent and food delicious. Would definitely go back.
