Very friendly and accommodating.. Within walking distance of all shops and restaurants
Nice place. Easy walk to town for food and drinks. Quick access to ATV trails. Love the 1970's wood paneling. Wife not so much.
Shower was very small and leaked all over the floor bed sagged in the middle and the wifi doesn't reach the room great view of the lake and good cable selection was decent for a hiker wouldn't suggest it for a family get away though
I can explain in words how awesome this place is , if you need to rent a place to go snowmobile or any other time of year , Joe and his crew makes you feel like family the second you get there and will do anything to help you out , they made my horrible experience up there turn into a beautiful family vacation and experience. The cabins are awesome , the staff was amazing and the location and atmosphere is exquisite, I can't express my sense of gratitude what Town and Lake did for me and made my memory of Rangely Maine unforgettable !!!!
Clean rooms live the Keurig in unit. But booked me for (1) versus 2 nights stay almost didn't have a place to stay Luckily someone left Early
This was a great place very relaxing, great view and kyak and canoe access..great restaurant right across the street rooms are great I would love to visit again
Nice people. Saw deer in front of the cabins during the day.
Absolutely love this place! Warm welcoming people and a beautiful view, what more could you ask for?!
About 2000 my Grandson and I spent several days here in one of the cabins. Very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. My Grandson love the kayaks and canoes, and we enjoyed watching the float planes land and take off at their nearby facility. It's not a luxury resort, and that's the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. However I did not want nor need a luxury resort. We really enjoyed the place. My wife and I will be booking a couple of days there in a month or so when our plans are firm. I'm looking forward to it.
I crashed there with 4 other hikers on our way through town. We had to come into Rangeley to resupply, and Joey & Sheryl Morton were more than welcoming. They even helped us to find each other as we didn't come into town together. The beds are comfy, and we had a fantastic view of the thunderstorm that came through the town in the evening from the porch in back of our room. In the morning we took out the kayaks & canoes they have available to guests. Paddling was a nice change from hiking! The rooms even have a little kitchenette for those a bit more budget minded about food. Clean rooms, hot showers, and friendly service. It doesn't get much better than the Town & Lake Motel!
