Clean apartment and attentive staff - we have a new property manager as of last year and the change has been very positive. If we have had an issue the problem has been resolved quickly and the maintenance team has been helpful and efficient.

Happy with our experience with Torrington so far. They seem to have new staff members that are doing a great job of being attentive and resolve issues. When we first moved in the property manager seemed to be a little spacey but with their new employees they've made a concerted effort to resolve any outstanding issues!

Moved into a recently renovated apartment in South Boston owned by Torrington. We looked at a lot of apartments in the area and this one was BY FAR the cleanest and most updated apartment. Their standard is clearly higher than other landlords in the area, so thank you Torrington!

NEVER RENT HERE! Absolute worst apartment renting experience of my life. This company is the definition of "Negligent". They would never respond to phone calls or emails, even if you noted it as an emergency. It took them 8 months to fix my mailbox, so it was without a lock on it for that time. There was a water leak in my window, they refused to send any maintenance workers to fix it, then one day showed up unexpectedly with no notice, they still never fixed it. The washing machines are from the stone age, yet they charge $2.00 for a wash and another $2.00 to dry! The machines were constantly breaking and didn't clean or dry well when they did work. Neighbors were very noisy and management did nothing about it after multiple complaints. When moving out, they tried to rush me out a day early than I had planned multiple times. The common areas are left unclean during almost constant construction, with dust and debris covering the hallway floors. It was truly awful living here, and the management doesn't care at all.
