We love Dr. Toombs and his staff! We’ve used both the Lenexa and Prairie Village locations and they’re equally great. They do free regular visits pre-orthodontics (at any age) which was so helpful when I wasn’t sure if and when my kids would need braces. I was referred to them by my dentist for one of my kids and when I found out about their free check-up policy, I brought my 2 other (then) grade-schoolers in too. I have brought my other 3 kids in since for regular check ups too, starting at about age 7/8 (6 kids total). They were honest and reassuring about my oldest NOT needing any braces at any point and were easy to work with my 3 of my others who have needed them. HIGHLY, highly recommend!

Dr Toombs is beyond amazing but his office staff that deals with the financial side is horrible. She was rude and difficult from the beginning. She made a huge fuss because my name wasn't on mine and my husband's medical card and made me drive 6 hrs to have my husband sign the paperwork. Even though I had never been late with a payment she was rude to the point of abuse and harassment because I won't allow her to keep my card on file. Sorry but I have no trust in you. Not worth it. Go somewhere else.
