  Nice park for softball tournament but no concessions for 16 teams playing from 9 a.m. till 7 p.m. ? Thats insane.

  The park is nice and well kept. The walking trail goes out along the Iowa River as is a great spot for watching Bald Eagles.

  Featuring 8 softball fields, Napoleon park is great for baseball and softball tournaments. The play structure is nice to have as a drop by after a baseball game or if biking the river trail but it has some flaws that keep it from being a destination park. My main complaint is the play structure has very little shade and can get rather hot. The parking lot is a distance from the park, there are no swings, and baseball fields don't make for a very pleasing landscape. I think children 2+ could handle most of the equipment and it does have some fun pieces. I like the rock mound climber and chain bridge.
