Great pizza with fresh ingredients from the back yard. The spinach feta pizza is the best.
Stopped here after a PITT game, had one of the pizzas and it was delicious. Rico makes it all from scratch and grows some of the ingredients onsite, and you can taste the difference. We will be coming back for sure.
Good pizza. Small portions on other dishes. Service was slow. Restroom sink had no hot water.
We absolutely adore this little restaurant! One of the best pizzas in town! Highly recommend!!!
Every time I try to go to this restaurant it is closed. I am not from the area and have been hearing about it from friends and how wonderful it is. Today I tried to go with a friend and they said it would be open at 12 on the sign. We came at 12:20, and seeing it wasn't open left. We then returned at 1:45 and it still was not open. Also when we were there briefly to see if it were open, the parking lot had several cars with other potential customers inside, complaining that it wasn't open. Yes I understand that the restaurant is only open half the year but we also attempt to go on days and times they claim to be open. When you call they do not answer. Also, the menu has changed permanently and now omits popular dishes. Over a year ago they removed ravioli and several other items from the menu and then upon questioning they said they would replace the foods. The website states that foods will change periodically due to different ingredients being ripe at different times. However this doesn't explain why things have been removed from the menu and not been brought back, even after we were told they would be. Tomato Pie is a good restaurant when it is actually open and it's a staple for the area, but treating customers like that is not acceptable.
I had one of their fabulous pizzas for lunch today!
Great little place just outside of Northpark and an easy walk from the lakeside of the park. All of their food is great, but quite pricey. They have outdoor, indoor, and a psueodo indoor balcony seating. The place is usually packed and is only open half a year as a result. Try one of their signature pizzas coupled with a dinner salad!
Phenomenal food and the outdoor seating is great. Be warned though, getting a table or getting a check is difficult.
Really unique, and down to earth place to dine. Don't expect elegance but rather a family patio atmosphere. His pies are great and taste home made and not processed. Btw, I don't like soda either.
We stop by for dinner on a Saturday night, according to the waitress we were not allowed to have soda pop because the owner does not like it and refuses to sell it,the only thing available was water, ice tea and lemonade. If you want alcohol its BYOB.I thought she was kidding but she shrugged her shoulders, shook her head no ,and gave a sarcastic smile. We walked out and will never go back. From reading some of these comments the owner definitely has psychological issues. This used to be a cool place to go to.maybe he will go out of business and someone else will take over and cater to the needs of their customers.
